- Darla explains the SAP button to Sally when she wonders why her television is only in Spanish. Inspiration strikes when Sally sees a new young hip Latino designer who she believes could save Spectra Fashions and goes about tracking him down. A devoted Bridget tells her parents she wants to stay married to Deacon. Bridget tells Deacon she wants to make love. Amber demands that Deacon ends his marriage, he agrees only if she ends hers.

@@TriniT21 the inferno of poor dubbing is a reality. Thanks to 6yo daughter, I have to watch computer generated puppies straight out of the Uncanny Valley moving their mouths unnaturally _and_ out of sync with the sound. Then she eagerly wants to know if I liked it as much as she does.

I totally agree that women get the blame which is why the viewers blame Brooke for almost everything even when she does something out of concern for her kids
Karma is coming back to bite both Brooke and Eric. They’ve done their share of hurting family members through their impulsive choices.

There is never accountability for those Forresters. Amber should have checked Brooke on that one even if Rick was going to be mad that she spoke the truth,
Of course, Brooke has to lash out at Amber again, like it's her fault that Bridget is now married. What does she actually expect from her? That she is leaving the husband she just married again and for Bridget's well-being runs to Deacon?

It's heartbreaking to see the usually high energy Sally just giving up. 😢
But it's still more entertaining to see Spectra narrowly escaping getting closed down for the 10th time than seeing the Forresters faiI to outwit Deacon for the 10th time.

They're back to making Brooke look old again -- she looks like Eric's age here. But maybe it's intentional this time because they're both supposed to be the parents of Bridget in this story.

@@TriniT21It's both of their faults. It's Rick's fault for bringing Deacon into their lives, and Brooke's fault for scheming to break Rick and Amber up (so that Deacon got this false hope that was then taken away from him, causing him to want to get back at the Forresters). And of course it's Deacon's fauIt too because he's the one who is using Bridget.
@@annieo6527 the reason why I say it really is actually all Rick's fault, is bc had he never gone out of his way to find Deacon in the first place, none of the other chain of events wod have happened. Had Rick not started the snowball rolling down the hill, the avalanche happening now wouldn't be.
Now, if Deacon had sauntered into town and stumbled upon Amber and his son on his own and started trouble by going to Rick and asking for money, that would have been another story.
@@TriniT21 yes, of course if Rick hadn't done that, Little Eric and Amber would have been Spectras by now (and much better off). I'm just feeling there's also karma in there for Brooke too, because of her scheme. If she hadn't done that, Amber would have stayed with Deacon another month and then she would have had the baby, he would have had the money, and although he might not have been happy with losing his son and Amber he would have had no reason to be angry with the Forresters, so he wouldn't have used Bridget to get back at them. (It's just that it makes more sense to me for Bridget's downfall to be connected to Brooke's actions because it makes for a better symmetry in connection with the Venice storyline.)
@@annieo6527 I honestly find Rick didn't even need Deacon to break up CJ and Amber's wedding. Amber had feelings for Rick anyway.. All he had to do was show up and claim his love and she'd have stopped the wedding herself, while she "sorted out" her feelings. Amber had one foot out the door with CJ anyway.
So Rick most likely would have ended up with Amber and baby anyhow, sans Deacon, with CJ now becoming his enemy.
I def see your point about Brooke tho. Even without Rick bringing in Deacon as a factor, Brooke would have been against Amber marrying her son, and would have done the "Venice" on them anyway to break them up. And then Amber would run back with the baby to CJ for comfort, and Brooke screeching.. "See!? She never loved you!"
This really is why I think Deacon being here now to run circles around the Forresters is all Rick's fault. He actually didn't *need* Deacon, and the storyline could have gone just as well without him, with prob the exception of this part with Deacon now trying to trade Bridgit for Amber. I dont see CJ being that devious.
Tony was super hot! I drooled over him and Deacon!
Sorry not convinced that all this chaos is happening because of Amber. Its incredibly annoying when the writers try and convince us that a character is much more desirable than they really are.

I don’t get it, if all it took was getting another designer, why didn’t Sally just do that? Why did she have to see Tony’s interview to understand that she doesn’t have to close the company?

But, I enjoy seeing Sally almost closing down for 100th time, only to get another spark of energy to start all over again.
I think Sally didn't actually _have_ to close down the company. She just felt like there was no fun in it anymore because of Macy's death, and then she saw this handsome young designer and got inspired.

@@annieo6527 That would be out of character for Sally to say, but the writing certainly meant it that way. The Latino people are looked down on and seen as the ones who fill the position of the Help.
