Lol im that purple haired whitsmith at the beginning. I joined nova abt a month ago to play on hardcore mode and started on SM yesterday after finishing my lvl 200 RG on Hel mode. Starting out on the server as a x1 exp booster character has been fun, a lot of prerenewal nostalgia vibe Just wanna add that there are also union equipment to consider. The axe especially is far stronger than metal weapon axe (~120atk more at both +7). Other weapons might vary. Downside is, you have to buy refine tickets, but 700k is totally affordable as first day x1 exp player. My strat was to skip the metal weapon altogether and save the booster coins. Use the free rental cutlass until i have enough to purchase refine tickets for the union axe and will use this until 100. The union equipments also give extra exp (12% total if wearing the whole set) Btw can i join your guild? :D
Some people might not know right away what it means to be locked into your main class when you're a booster. Most servers do not allow to have multiple jobs on one character. you talk about it @10:55
I would also like to know as I’m dying to play slinger class but knowing it’s not an expanded class I’m not sure if it’s even worth it. I just got to lvl 100 freshly new GX non boosted character and one of my friends said I should stop now and not waist anymore time on him after all the work I put in, I’m not sure what he meant by that. Now I’m debating on starting a new GX or Merchant for my new boosted char. Can you give me your take on this situation?
Now you have the choice to be reseted to high novice or regular novice. Does that mean that you will lose out on trans bonuses if you forgo the rebirth/novice route for transcended classes?
As a broke ass genetic struggling to get 5 more levels until 200 on 100x non boosted, leveling a booster all the way to biolo sounds like purgatory but that drop rate and armor sets tho😖😫😫…maybe once my genetic is a biolo max level along with my homun at max level ill try it, hopefully i can just load up my previous hom once i have access to that skill again
I was so excited about the Booster Character event as a new player in SM, but unfortunately it was poorly implemented. The problem is if it's unfair to new players. Dual Client, all acess to storage, all free trade with another account. Booster Character was supposed to be a 1x/1x challenge from scratch, using the equipment and items from the event, an arduous achievement, but it was just another exploit for veteran players.
Can you give equipment to the booster char? I mean, if i have a ranger y can start a ranger booster and use that equipment? Can i from novice create a booster and becomes high novice or should i rebirth 1st? As if x1, a booster char will get the bonus drop from max lv at x1?

U can use the 150% manuals as well, the THIKK battle manual! It says on the item if it is usable or not on a booster char

Adding a note before watching the video: you can't gain exp if you play in a different computer.

Ranger, gx or RK are probably the top 3 if i had to guess

you lose out on trans bonuses if you don't trans yes. That option is meant for the expanded classes.
so when should you become a booster? after you already got some gear hunted out or straight away for that sweet bonus and goodies?
Most recommend making a x100 character first to build up some gear and zeny.

How to get acid bottle and grenade on booster char? So hard made my own bottle.. what skill we use to farm with biochemist?

Booster is mainly used by veteran players to farm mvp cards there, since at level 230 you get a random acc bound mvp
Can I reset my Homunculus(it's a lief)? New to renewal and creator class.
Open it's stat window with right click, and choose delete in the drop-down menu. Then use another embryo to make another one.

Booster automatically becomes a high novice. And you can use any gear you have yes
