I've seen a million kdramas and love so many of them, but the chemistry in this one is just out of this world. They really nailed it when they paired up Song Hye-kyo and Rain, cause the spark between them is something that cannot be constructed in an artificial way. There are a lot of kdramas out there with better scripts and production value, and Full House may seem outdated in many ways (some fashion choices are questionable, to say the least, haha), but I've never seen any with better chemistry between the leads. No matter how many years go by, this pairing makes me laugh and cry like no other. And when they finally get together, it's so beautiful and looks so real that you can't help but feel moved. I think my favourite thing about Full House is that there are no giant gestures of love or over-the-top romantic scenes. It looks like a real relationship between the leads, it's intimate, cosy, and seems authentic. I don't know how they pulled it off, but this is the drama that made me understand what chemistry means and how rare it is to come across a pairing that you can truly relate to. Even after rewatching many times, the ending makes me cry with its beautiful simplicity and warms my heart so much.

Watched this in 2004 and watched again in 2022. It's a masterpiece and pure magic! FULL HOUSE is still able to engage your heart and fill it with joy. I laughed and cried and heartbroken along with them. SHK and Rain are definitely super talented actors. They would show such a subtle emotions but they are really moving and greatly touched our soul. Im currently 21 years old. This is the first ever korean drama that I watched when I was 8 years old. Until now, their soundtracks are engraved in my mind.
There is something about this kdrama that feels magical. I can't get enough of it. Its like a childhood classic that have a special place in my heart. Rain is my childhood crush btw. And I really admire the actress, she is still beautiful until now.
I watch Full House in 2021. And from all the K-drama I ever watched, Full House is the best. The emotions feel so real. I laughed a lot, I smiled a lot, and I hold my tears many times, those the emotions I had the moment I watch every episode. Rain is the best.

It was good, but there are now better Kdramas. It was a little repetitive as in they did the same thing in every episode a lot. Such as the constant screaming and arguing at each other. It was all the time and it got boring after a while. They’d argue then things were fine for a few mins and then they’d argue again. Bit too much of it. She’s stunning, she really is. He’s quite ugly really, well he’s not really handsome. He’s tall and slim and I think that’s his only appeal. His face is strange. What a stupid name too. Why can’t he just use his birth name like everybody else. Very pretentious. Did like it though but fast forwarded the arguing which was quite a chunk of it.
So in love with this KDrama. It's the best I have ever seen. Rain and Song Hye Kyo are definitely super talented actors who make us laugh and cry even with their subtle emotions. Their chemistry is out of this world. The storylines, editing, and beautiful soundtrack made Full House so enjoyable to watch. I first watched in 2004 and now again in 2022. The most beautiful facial expressions of this series is at 58:47, she was so happy when everything had been done. At this time, her smile was quite different from the others before, when she had just get along with the situations and suffer a lot. This time finally emphasized the happy ending. 6 years later, I'm still remember her final smile, cant deny that Shong Hye-kyo is best woman for this role.

Agree with you, I leave korean drama about 4 years ago and start to watch Jdrama again since then. Im getting tired with clise story easy to guess, exagerated kissing and hug scene (They expected that would be sweet, but its just too much), Kdrama nowadays like fashion show, branded clothing even for 'poor' character, perfect make up hair do. Then I come to 'full house' , here I find natural beauty and character. Hope Kdrama put more concern in story, character and set. Not only about the appearance and wardrobe.

No one was mentioning the full house ost's so i felt the need to appreciate it, I've watched hundred of kdramas but only like 10 or 15 osts but full house osts are soo good that i can't just get over them. And I'll definately recommend this kdrama to my known ones bcz this is a classic

It was my first time watching this. So when I started watching it, I didn't expect to love it so much. It's definitely a classic! It doesn't matter how the plot was. Because for me, it's the leads who carried the whole show. With chemistry so real, I couldn't help but fall for them too. Song Hye Kyo and Rain definitely did a great job at portraying all those emotions. I used to cry with them, smile with them, laugh with them. Their acting definitely made me feel many different emotions. Now, I am actually going to miss the two so much- Han Ji eun and Lee Young jae😭. I also enjoyed watching Yu Min hyuk and Kang Hae won. So, will miss them as well :')

Agree with you, I leave korean drama about 4 years ago and start to watch Jdrama again since then. Im getting tired with clise story easy to guess, exagerated kissing and hug scene (They expected that would be sweet, but its just too much), Kdrama nowadays like fashion show, branded clothing even for 'poor' character, perfect make up hair do.
Then I come to 'full house' , here I find natural beauty and character.
Hope Kdrama put more concern in story, character and set. Not only about the appearance and wardrobe.

I’m already 29 years old turning 30 this year but still I can’t get enough of this kdrama. Still watching this over and over again. This is the only kdrama that I keep on watching again. The first time I watched this, I was still in highschool. This has always been my all time favorite kdrama since then and now. I really love their love story. It’s like so chill, a feel good kdrama and no over drama. Haha I love everything! I love the cast! 😍😍😍 And I’m just so happy now that they’re both happily married with their love ones. ❤️

It was my first time watching this. So when I started watching it, I didn't expect to love it so much. It's definitely a classic! It doesn't matter how the plot was. Because for me, it's the leads who carried the whole show. With chemistry so real, I couldn't help but fall for them too. Song Hye Kyo and Rain definitely did a great job at portraying all those emotions. I used to cry with them, smile with them, laugh with them. Their acting definitely made me feel many different emotions. Now, I am actually going to miss the two so much- Han Ji eun and Lee Young jae😭. I also enjoyed watching Yu Min hyuk and Kang Hae won. So, will miss them as well :')

I cry every time i listen to this, takes me back to my korean nanas house, how we would watch this on DVD, before boys before flowers! My nana teach us different mannerisms, through videos so we understood the difference between cultures.
The pregnant Hijin did not show her bump as she was around 14 weeks in pregnancy by the time Young Jae won Jieun’s heart in the tent. The drama took place in a short timeframe of summer in South Korea. Summer in South Korea is in July and August. Jieun returned from Shanghai on Friday 25 June 2004. She must have been sleeping outside Full-House in the early hours of 28 June. The press conference announcing their marriage took place on Tuesday 6 July. Their marriage took place on Sunday 11 July. They returned from honeymoon on 19 July. Jieun’s birthday was on 22 July. Young Jae announced the divorce to the press on 28 August. He went to the monastery on the same night. He must have returned to Full House after staying in the monastery for 10 - 11 days, which is a good period for grandma to return from hospital due to the news of his divorce/long enough for Full House to be messy but not that unbearable/long enough for the rice to be consumed and out of stock. Young Jae said summer was over when he invited Jieun to camping. Camping outside Full House must take place not later than mid September as Jieun was still in her summer clothes. Night temperature in mid September is in the comfortable range of 18 to 20 degree Celsius. If camping takes place in the later half of September, Jieun would have to put on more clothes. The Director made sure that Hijin did not show her pregnancy on purpose to make sure the audience can follow the timeline. The second hint of the timeline is Jieun’s birthday, which was shown on Calendar in two episodes. Pregnancy shows between 12 - 16 weeks, depending on individuals. 14 weeks is a good time in this drama for Hijin’s pregnancy not to be shown. In the last episode, the baby was shown several months old and in summer time again. This is just right time for the film that Young Jae played as main lead to be finished and premiered. So Full House was on a day-to-day timeline, with only a few non-eventful moments skipped, e.g. the early days when Jieun worked as maid for Young Jae, the days when Young Jae spent in the monastery. One missing piece out of the whole drama is the whole week of honeymoon. However, there is hint from the drama too. The honeymoon must be when Young Jae started to care for Jieun; otherwise, Young Jae would not be silly enough to go to Magic Land looking for Jieun within days on return from honeymoon if he simply took her as contractual wife. Other than this, the whole episode is a daily account of what happened between Young Jae and Jieun, how they got to know each other and fell in love with each other.
