Wouldn't it be lovely if we had the perspective when kids are little that we have when they are grown? If only, time really does go so quickly. I am so thankful for the gift of time that homeschooling has given our family.
I have a child who I graduated homeschooling who is now 21. To say that my youngest is 2 so for the feeling that you have with a child who is about to leave the home I know how that can be. I was so heartbroken when he left my home. I will be praying for you during this season of life. And I'm sure it is just in his emotional having your oldest now become a teenager. Just know that you have done it with God's grace and mercy and your children have a love of God which we can see just through your videos, which is not even close to what their lives hold. Great job mama!

While cleaning my kitchen, thinking of all the things we should get done before pausing to do the Christmas fun, you really made me realize I need to stop rushing everything. We can take the time to play extra board games, read our favorite Christmas books, and watch some holiday movies. Thanks for that perspective.

I relate to your whole video! We choose themes for birthdays each year, my dogs play fight like that, my daughter is also taking college courses through GCU, and we are wrapping up the semester and preparing for a trip soon. I hope you guys enjoy Disney. It sounds like a fun tradition!

It's our first year homeschooling and I've been so overwhelmed to get things checked off the list right before Christmas and my son's birthday which is on Christmas Day, that it's been stressful on everyone in the house. I'm so encouraged to take the rest of December off to make Christmas memories ❤ Merry Christmas to your whole family❤️🎄
I can totally relate to your thoughts. My oldest graduated in May and my youngest turns 13 at the end of this month. I have 3 driving kids and 3 kids with jobs. It’s such a crazy time but has become maybe my favorite stage so far. Thanks for sharing your thoughts! Merry Christmas!!
What a fun party and time getting your nails done! I am stressing over 8th grade science, its not workkkking and after struggling for too long we are switching. I feel like we need to do it through the holidays to finish the book the end of June. Did you finish "every single page" when your daughter was in 8th? I never worried when they were little but 8th grade seems too old 😭
Do you prefer Disneyland or Disneyworld? My favorite is Disneyland! When we lived in California for eight years, we went at least once a year. Miss that! Have fun! ❤ And I love your cute, Santa sweatshirt! And Walter is so sweet! He likes your couch!!!
Not sure if you already have a video on this or not, but could you talk about technology devices and kids? Are there a parental apps you use, what ages did your kids get phones, etc. My kids are still little, but I feel overwhelmed thinking about how to navigate that and time just flies so I want to start thinking and learning about that stuff now.
Can I ask why you had your hormones checked? Not even sure what I’d be looking for. I’m curious if something like this would help with my mood swings as my hormones are changing too.
