- Welcome to our UA-cam video showcasing the beautiful Thulusdhoo Island, one of the most affordable local islands to visit in the Maldives. This island measures 700 x 400 meters and has a population of approximately 1400 residents.
As we explore Thulusdhoo Island, we'll take you on a journey through its many attractions. The island's most prominent attraction is the Coca-Cola plant, which was built in the 1980s as the world's only facility to use desalinated seawater. As a result, Thulusdhoo is also known as Coke's Island.
Thulusdhoo is the primary destination for surfers in the Maldives and boasts famous surf breaks like Cokes and Chickens, as well as several other waves in the vicinity. We'll show you our journey to the famous surf point, Cokes, as we make our way through the jungle.
After surfing, we spent the afternoons diving and exploring the vibrant sea life. We encountered so many colourful fish, including a sea snake and an octopus that wasn't afraid of us.
But Thulusdhoo Island is not just about the sea - we also explored the island on foot, discovering its many wonders, including the best restaurant on the island, Indulge, where we enjoyed delicious food every day.
We'll take you on a journey through Thulusdhoo Island, showcasing its unique attractions and natural beauty. Join us as we discover why Thulusdhoo Island is a perfect getaway for nature lovers.
Good job. I was there in April and had a great time. The snorkeling is incredible. And if you need a drink they can take you out to the barge at sunset for drinks!!!!
This is beautiful & thanks for the video. What is the name of the restaurant where the birthday celebration was held?
Hi there, Which island you loved most Dhiffushi or Thulusdhoo overall?
Hi, both island are really beautiful. Dhiffushi is more like „family oriented island“ and Thulusdhoo is more cool. You will find there much more young people, surfers. Also accommodations are much better on Thulusdhoo I would say, and we really loved indulge restaurant there.. i would visit both islands again, beach on Dhiffushi is wonderful but I would give a slight advantage to Thulusdhoo.
@@gorandr Thanks a lot , I want to visit both islands, I might stay at Thulusdhoo and give a day trip to Dhiffushi , i really loved Dhiffushi's beaches more than Thulusdhoo in videos but considering overall vibe, streets and restaurants thulusdhoo will be better to stay i guess.
@@ZarrinTasnim-mm4ep yes, I think it is a good plan. Have a nice holiday
Hello
can i take the local ferry from male to thulusdhoo ? how much time do you think it requires ?
and what kibd of other activities i can do in this island (except surf)
thank youu
@@hind-ln4ok There is a local ferry that goes every hour I think. You need around 1 hour till the airport. You can rent a windsurfing board, a jet ski, there are a lot of daily trips to other islands...
