I remember back in the day when Sasha still had not read the HP series and I was like "Yes girl I can relate. I don't want to read those books". Then she read them so I gave them a shot too and oh man I am so mad I didn't read them earlier. They are perhaps some of the best books ever written! I can't believe I missed out on the magic as a kid but better later than never.
I read it when i was little and it was a beautiful experience. Exciting times, waiting in line for each book that was coming out.
I have only read the first book, and let me tell you, I found it so boring. Nothing actually happens in the first book and honestly don't feel the need to continue. I might still pick up book 2, but only because I somewhat knows where the story is going because of the movies and I want to see how Voldemort is written. If I didn't know anything about HP and I picked up the first book, I would 100% not have continued.
I'm very surprised so many continued after that boring ass first book.

I feel like this is a book simply nail logical video with Sasha as Christine and her puppy as menchie lol. I agree with most of these. And I gasped on wayward sons because imagining Kat’s reaction
I’ve read Renegades and it’s pretty boring the first few chapters but once nova gets to meet the other characters and be in the HQ it becomes really interesting
I’ve been thinking about reading the Percy Jackson series and the Vampire Academy series but I feel like I’m too late to get into those. Am I?

The only one I had disagreed with was the Renegades series because that’s one of my favorites but I don’t blame you for it not being what you are interested in
You aren't missing anything with Renegades. The only interesting aspect is the philosophy behind the two sides of the conflict. The characters are dry and I hate most of them. Found myself skipping large chunks of Arch Enemies.

Shatter Me disappointed me, but Unravel Me is better for me, and of course Ignite Me is better than the 2 of them. I felt that Ignite Me has a cliffhanger. I understand that feeling that suddenly there was a new book in a series.
In the second grade I read the first Percy Jackson novel. I loved it, but never read the other books in the series. At the end of the third grade I read the Heroes of Olympus series, and that series and The Hunger Games series made me fall in love with reading.

I'm hoping to write a book. But can't decide if I should write In a note book or my iPad. If I Write it on my iPad, I could write more often, but on a note book I can see how much pages I did. I also have IOS 9.3 and can't get Microsoft Word. So..
Unpopular opinion: I really disliked the Shatter Me Series. I really tried, I read all three hoping it would get better because of all the hype but I just couldn’t stand it. I found the main character to be unrelatable and annoying.
Honestly very few times have read a book that everyone is excited about and it be so over hyped that I outright hate it and not read the book
But then I look at my bookshelf never mind...
omg I agree with not caring that much about Wayward Son. I feel as though the books are published too far apart, so I can’t really remember what happened in the first book so I’m not really connected to the sequel

I pretty much agree with you here Sasha.
1. I have read the shatter me series and they became my favorite books (way back 2014 or 2015) I was excited that there is a book 4 but I did not read it 😂 idk why and of course I did not read the 5th too.
2. I did not read rainbow rowell's carry on so I will not read the next book, I enjoyed fangirl ALONE

I read and loved the original Shatter Me series, and I wish that it had stayed as a trilogy. The new books are clearly tacked on as an afterthought.

Aww I loved Renegades but if that's not your book mood, that's not your book mood. And you're totally right it's okay to not want to read popular books. For me I have to say the books I have no interest in reading are the second book from the Children of Blood and Bone series and Nevernight. Just not my thing.

I agree with everything. I've never started Shatter Me and don't really want to. Maybe one day in the distant future but for now, not likely. I've read Fangirl, back idk a few years ago and didn't like it so I had no interest in picking Carry On up, and Renegades just doesn't sound interesting to me.

Renegades... ah, yes. I tried to read it. Didn't work. I tries to listen to it. Didn't work.
In my opinion I think Restore me is pretty good so far, it’s kinda slow in the beginning but I think it’s just a set up for the middle/ending. In the middle/ending you learn a lot of new info that kinda makes you say whoa there. Anyway you should READ it!!

I read a short story from Rainbow Rowell and now I'm going to binge read her other ones.
loved the first 3 books of the shatter me series and even though I have bought Restore me and Defy me, I will definitely not read them for a while. I thought the story ended and maybe I should leave it there.
For me:
1. I never even read shatter me, not interested, i cant bear the love triangle
2. I never read sequels to stand alone books,,,,
3. Girl, i LOVE the renegades, you need to read it. I think its WAY better than the lunar chronicles

Those are the only two books of hers that I have, and I only read Fangirl. I really loved fangirl, except the Carry On snippets that are in it. 😂😂
