      Try #1 across the board… number 1 in rivals and number one in average number ranking … only reason was not a clean sweep is because the class size… 21 vs like 25-27 but kid for kid #1 Go Ducks

    I can bet that not all them will spend more than sixteen months at Texas. No playing time? Hit the transfer portal!

    Everyone else sitting here saying, "but Oregon never won a Natty, Oregon never won one!" Y'all better start taking note. We are smoking cigars this year. 🍾 What a day. I honestly don't care if we win the Natty this year or not. We came into the BIG went 12-0, we are in the championship game, made the playoff and now the best class in the BIG. With the highest average rating nationally might I add. Lanning is our Saban. We walked in and made a statement. If we win the championship game. We can check off "beat all the blue bloods in the conference in the same year" to the resume. Good time to be a Duck.

    It's absolutely adorable how Bud is pretending that Deion is going to stay at CU after this season.

    I’m sorry but Texas had the easiest sec schedule so don’t say they are sec ready… UGA reminded them of that

    • @daniellotzsch908
      @daniellotzsch908 2 дні тому +3

      Im sorry but what is sec ready ? You can say Texas is over rated and easy schedule. But how can you say they are not sec ready. They might not be a bama or Georgia in ur mind. They are still minimum at that second level. They just shut out Texas a&m. They beat bama in their house. Their talent is preatty good. Are you telling me. That Texas is not an ole miss, usc and Tennessee level program. If the criteria is you have to be bama or uga. Then there are only 2 teams that are sec ready?

    • @zDerezzed
      @zDerezzed 2 дні тому +2

      @crob3094 You're missing the point. Obviously, Texas is good, and they peaked at the perfect time when transitioning into the SEC. However, making the case that Texas runs the conference after one season, even if they win the SEC Championship, is ridiculous considering it is one season and they had a very easy schedule. 14th ranked SoS in the SEC out of 16 teams. If they finish the season with only one conference loss for the next season or two, then we'll talk.

    recruiting will be less important every year going forward. The best players will be looking for money and playing time. High school recruits are the biggest crap shoot and even the best recruiting experts are hitting less than 50% vs expectations. Portal players are known entities with college football experience and results. The portal bleeds depth from teams with stacked depth.

    Less 'he', 'they', 'he', 'he' , 'he', 'they', more names please... You all know who you are talking about at all times, perhaps, but your audience certainly does not! How about using the kids names the majority of the time, whenever possible.
    No less than Howard Cosell spoke on this topic. He said he used the actual names of athletes as much as possible, and thought it was lazy to do otherwise. Just sayin'...

    Texas without NIL is a 500 team and lower. Texas is not a powerhouse.

    • @KirkDAAndersonFitness
      @KirkDAAndersonFitness 2 дні тому +13

      But they do have NIL. So Texas IS a Powerhouse. Thats the Reality. Just ask Oregon. Michigan just signed the #1 QB in the country because of NIL. Lol 😅

    • @cobbler88
      @cobbler88 14 годин тому

      I found it a little curious as well. It's typical how they'll completely forget things that have actually happened if they can use it to support this or that boilerplate take they have.
      Suddenly Texas will be able to just "stack talent" at all these positions, and somehow be NIL-proof regarding that talent transferring out if it doesn't get to play?
      I like Texas, and root for it in most cases. Buteverything they said about how great Texas is was just as easily said about UGA a couple of seasons ago. Now UGA isn't really the UGA of that time.
      Take care.
