Blah Blah on the Starlux youngest fleet. It’s easy when an airline has so few planes and is brand new on the scene. They should probably get an award for being so darned safe too!
The Emirates route to Bogotá makes zero sense with a MIA stopover: Colombians need a US visa. 60% of visa requests are denied and visa interviews are scheduled two years in advance currently (scheduling interviews in 2026 for present applications).
Do they need a visa if they stay in the international zone? I never needed one but I haven't had a stopover in the US so far, maybe they have special rules.
Tourist visa refusal rates are half of that, still high, but this is normally for new visas only. Renewals are much easier and many did have a visa before the pandemic and wait times were much shorter. BOG-MIA is one of the most popular routes for those wanting to visit the US. There is a pretty big Colombian diaspora in Florida as well and Emirates offer provides a premium product that the current airlines do not offer. Dubai is booming as a tourist and work destination so Emirates wants to maximize the value of their offering. I’m surprised that they succeeded this time when Avianca managed to block Qatar from entering the Colombian market some years ago.
@@leonrambach1216Yes, a transit visa is required at the very least, but with wait times being so long, and having the same cost, a tourist visa is a better option.
I have stopped over in MIA on a number of occasions. You are treated as as if you are arriving as a domestic passenger, not as an international traveller transiting.@@leonrambach1216
No, that's on the B787, which the threat of the A330neo keeps cheap. Im tired of asking you Boeing boys if the 787 is in profit yet. Seems to me Boeing earn just a few dollars on each one, whereas the A350 programme was in profit eons ago now. The rest of your attitude is just 'sour grapes'.........
I gave the advices cc. Airbus to Emirates+Thai Airways, as Boeing isn't as good as Airbus, whether 787 nor 777.A week ago I traveled K. L. @@maherhamdan2649 You are totally wrong. First up, Emirates has more than 100 A380. Second, Etihad Airways has several Airbus jets, including the A320, A350 and A380. Third, Air Arabia (a LCC based in the UAE) has an all-A320 fleet.
Great news for Airbus and RR good to see the freighter version picking up orders it'd going to be a great success as a alternative to the 777
Recently flew on Starlux A350 from LAX to TPE (RT). It has the most comfortable economy class in the market.
Great video, dj!
I don't think he replies to comments much

Is it just me or SE Asian airlines (Thai, Malaysian, etc.) have this tendency to over-expand and then be forced to scale back quickly in a few years?
They are not the best managed country clearly
Great Video And Info
Boeing should make a 737max freighter. It would be able to deliver cargo to the bottom of a smoking crater going 550mph
It would actually be a good idea for Boeing to do a B737-8F. And MCAS has not kicked in since the Ethiopian 302, and that was 5 years ago.

Vietjet ordered 20 A330 Neos.
Lynx air shut down on this day😢
Thanks for advice, just ordered for me and my mom.

"Colombian Exports" through Miami😏. Wall Street will be pleased 👃🍬

I believe cabin noise is more related to isolation materials, then engines.
UAE are a colony of USA and there is no way they become clients of Airbus
