Hello,Master Marty Matchbox=MMM It's good to know that you still here on Earth. We have early morning in Germony and sitting here by coffee and toast and watch Marty matchbox.👍😄🤓🚀🥁
You know Marty, I'm begining to think the paint striper was a little more safer then the other stuff that you were using there, and I see Kevin is up to his old tricks again and he never quits his day job, Good to see you back Kevin!
I can not tell you how much I missed these little interludes. It is so nice to have you back. I absolutely LOVED the reference to the little bags in Kevin's room.......though I should be embarrassed to admit it. By the way, the trick to avoiding the white border on the transfer is to print the black border a shade to wide and then trim the black to the appropriate width.
If you want to use the original thickness black border as a guide to cutting, you can do a red coloured line that better matches the base colour if you don't cut exactly on the black line.
Of all the 1-75 Lesneys, this #2 Muir Hill Dumper has always been my favorite. Its very British styling and festive colors just shout "Matchbox!" I'm so glad you finally restored one. Welcome back Marty!
Marty I hope things are okay with you and your family? I was just wondering where you have been? I sure do miss seeing you on here. Take care and hope to hear from you soon.
4 months and still no Marty hopefully everything is ok with you, Julie, Kevin and the family thinking of all of you 🙏🏻 I sure miss watching your new videos 🥺 🇨🇦❤️🤍🍁🤍❤️🇨🇦
not with this cans, I'm afraid; we have the same ones here in europe, and there is no extending neck like on engine oil canisters, alas. no idea what the makers are thinking... you even can't empty it completely.
@@lotharrenz4621 Hi, I’m in Europe too, never come across a can of thinners that didn’t have an extending neck. Maybe the cheaper ones come with a separate screw on filler tube, but I’ve never come across one.
@@HiruS22 no idea, maybe germany has different market rules? I have never seen an extending neck on small cans, only on the 5, 10, or 20 litre cans. the larger ones, sotosay.
Well, I am thankful to the guy who recommended using thinner, nonetheless. Because it lead to one of the most hilarious skit/dad joke in history of Marty's videos. Seriously, it made my day a little better.
Happy to see you back on my screen here in Miami Beach! The shot of you face down on the floor was pretty funny. I like the way you have broken up the restoration with the on camera comments. Glad to see you settling in to the new house. Thanks for all you do!
You've been missed, Marty. I'm glad you're back and sharing your hobby with us again. Sorry about the heat. I'm in Denver Colorado and tonight it's -6C
Thank you for the video Marty! It's so great having you back! While you were gone I really missed seeing your new content each week, but it was nice getting to go back and watch the older videos again. Keep up the great work!
Hope you & your family are ok Marty as it's been over 2 months since your last upload. We miss your great content & sense of humour & hope to see some new matchbox makeover videos from you soon :-)
Great video Marty!! I can't tell you how much I enjoy hearing your music at the start of the videos. Sounds like a warm fuzzy blanket. I see Kevin is up to his usual mischievous self! It is great seeing your work again!
Really nice job, Marty! I've missed your jovial way of looking at things and your no-nonsense approach that you take when restoring these timeless classics. You really do a wonderful job of bringing back the classic flair that was built into every one of them. It's great to see you back again!

Glad your thriving I see it’s the middle of summer your way hopefully it will cool down when winter arrives glad to see Kevin floating around and as always the skits give me a chuckle or too as always keep it going fantastic job
The effort you put into these videos is definitely appreciated Marty. You could easily just do a 10-15 minute time-lapse of your process but I love the details you put in. Also your message about sending out the decals is just lovely. I don't know if anybody has ever taken you up on it but you offering to help other hobbyists? I'm happy with that!

I restore old tube type Ham Radio's, and have found that using automotive hand cleaner and toothbrush on the knobs, turns out very well. It comes in a tub and is like the consistency of hand cream. Just dip a bit on a brush and scrub all over and wipe with a dry towel. This makes the knobs look almost brand new. The smell is very nice and is non-toxic. All auto parts store carry, this stuff. (IT does not hurt plastic) Very nice work on the truck. I have watched all your videos, and they are done very well. Very Professional. 😀
