Memories of Christmases in the 1940s when I was a girl in the north ; there was always snow a foot deep. We always sang these songs in the Church Christmas plays. Knowing these were songs all about the birth of Jesus Christ and What HE came, here on this earth in a human body, to do ! Very soothing !!!

Buit my friends, keep in mind the thousands and thousands of American soldiers, sailors, airmen and Marines who gave their lives in too many wars as they suffered the battles and winter climate so we could enjoy our annual holiday. I thank God every day for letting me come home out of Korea in 1953 to a family holiday rather than another gun battle.
