Outdoor Versus Indoor Storage Units.. What To Look For Before Buying
There’s a big difference with outdoor units versus indoor units. I personally seen some pretty poor outdoor units. Not only because of rodents any kind of animals and weather. But I’ve also bought units were the owners have been there for 10 or 15 years which means the facility has not remodeled or repaired those units for a very long time.
Sometimes when you buy units that are outdoors they can be some of the best units because typically There they are bigger sizes, The owners pay more monthly because their drive up type units with quicker access along with the fact you have a great possibility of buying a business. Yes businesses don’t pay their bills and go delinquent all the time just like personal storage units auctions
But my point here is simply understand that there may be damage moisture things may have got in the storage unit if it’s an outdoor unit Versus a climate controlled indoor unit. ((Although I’ve seen some pretty crazy Elements in indoor units as well))

I wish you would have touched on how to unload for an indoor unit. Are they easily accessible, dolly's required etc...

I ended up getting an indoor unit, and if anyone is interested. They are easily accessible and if you're paying a moving company, it's there job and they have their own dolly's. The place I rented from has dolly's to use and the doors leading into the units are locked at night.
