21:31 Buckle up Yas, this is gonna be a bit long. So when NCT Dream debuted, they have a graduation system in place. Once the member/s reached their majority (19 in international age & 20 in korean age), they graduated (leave/won't participate anymore) out of the group. And then SM plans to debut more trainees through the brand NCT Dream while the original/graduated members go to NCT 127 (the other unit), WayV (Chinese unit), or few more "future" units at that time.
The song you called masterpiece, We Go Up, is actually Mark Lee's last song with them last 2018 before he graduated. He graduated (officially) at the end of December and starting from 2019-2020, he's out of the group. NCT Dream, now as 6-member group, released Boom (32:52) and Ridin' as their comebacks. But more on Ridin' because that's a bit conflicting.
Ridin' was promoted as a 6-member comeback, however, it was also announced by SM that they're dissolving the graduation system NCT Dream has and Mark will return to the group. On 2019, four members (Renjun, Jeno, Haechan, Jaemin) were supposed to graduate at the end of the year because they're already 19/20 but they didn't. If they had, the unit would be left with 2 members for the meantime (Chenle, Jisung). But then came the announcement that the graduation system is dissolved.
So technically Ridin' is their first comeback with Mark in the group but he wasn't part of the actual comeback and his first participation in the group was when they released the song Deja Vu, which is part of the NCT 2020 project [a project where all 23 members of NCT released two albums]. But their first OFFICIAL comeback as 7Dream, or as 7-membered unit again, is Hot Sauce [the song after Candy, the song in the beginning].
Graduation, the word, and the song themselves, hold different feelings and meanings for the members, the group and the fans.
I hope the explanation is clear. I just got in the fandom last year so I didn't personally experience the post-graduation system era but I have been made aware by both the group and the fans on how painful and scary that whole time is. Because they don't know what the future will bring..

Just want to add that the first time I ever saw Mark cry was on his graduation on NCT Dream. Mark isn't the emotional type of person but he couldn't stop his tears from falling and believe me, he tried. The Dreamies were a wreck at that time. Jisung was literally on the floor crying. The moment Mark's tears fell, Haechan and Renjun couldn't stop their tears as well. It was a hard time. I remember how the next day, fans gathered outside of SM to protest against the graduation system. Those were the hard days. It was wild how many times Czennies had to do a protest against the graduation system.
jisung is the one in the pink sweater! he sings raps dances olays guitar and more…hes very talented. he was known as a dance prodigy at the young age of 14!

He could rap and he could sing but most importantly, he's the group's main dancer. And he's renowned for being an absolute legend at stage for his moves and charms. Haechan is born in June 06, 2000.
Chenle is born in November 22, 2001.
Renjun is born in March 23, 2000 and is the second eldest of the group.
Mark is born in August 02, 1999 and is the eldest and LEADER of the group.

We always joked that their smiles can make a non-NCTzen an NCTzen (NCT fans). They're both the rappers in the group (alongside Mark, and Jisung, the boy next to Jaemin) but the four of them are also are excellent dancers and vocalists!
Jeno is born in April 23, 2000. Jaemin is born in August 13, 2000 and is the CENTER of the group.

7:04 Candy is their own rendition (a remake) of the song Candy by SM's 1st generation boy group H.O.T, and that's why you could hear Mark chanting H.O.T NCT H.O.T NCT 😅 It's practically a ritual for SM boy groups to cover the song [TVXQ, Super Junior, SHINee, EXO, NCT 127 had already covered it lots of times] but this time it's a remake, not just a cover stage.
The song is about preparing to break up with their girlfriend and making their decision, but once they saw her again, they forgot the whole plan and was reminded why they love her.
NCT's system looks complicated at first glance but once you get the basics, it's easy to narrow it down 😊

The intro of Mark beatboxing before Renjun sings is actually not part of the original song. It originated with an award performance where Mark and Kun (member of NCT and leader of NCT China unit, WayV) produced this bit [it's actually longer than this] and then they included this part during concerts too and now here.

Dream are all visuals, great singers & dancers, idk about Renjunnie but Chenle is good at rapping(though thats mostly cos his bias is Taeyong & he likes to imitate him lol) & Haechan is actually a really good rapper
