"This is Long Beach, it extends from Gulfport to Biloxi..." Long Beach is the town to the west of Gulfport, between Gulfport and Pass Christian. True, the Mississippi Gulf Coast has a long beach (23 miles, I think), and it is man made! Not to be picky, but the way you said it might confuse people. One thing about our coastline, one town becomes another pretty seamlessly and it's all one big gumbo. Thanks for bringing this area to the rest of the world!
It makes me so proud visiting the Coast and spending my money on their economy especially after what happened to them with Hurricane Katrina. It’s so nice, laid back, and cost way less than Gulf Shores or Destin. I hate getting in the Ocean anyways.
I visited some friends here 11 years ago. Wanted to visit more often, but jobs and money for me wasn't on a great balance after my visit. One of my friends is visited passed away at the end of February, but I connected with alot of great people through him. Now that I have a steady job, I will be able to visit more often. It makes me sad that when I do visit my friend, it will be at his gravesite 😢
Sorry to hear about the loss of your friend. Sounds like he was a friend to many. I’m glad you will be able to visit more often. We all need time with friends and family in places that we love❤️
Going here on vacation for the first time, does it matter if we stay in Gulfport or Longbeach or is it all pretty much the same? Is proximity to the beach all that matters?
The name of the beach is not Long Beach. Long Beach is a town on the other side of Gulfport. Biloxi is on one side and Long Beach is on the other side.
Living in Gulfport is relatively cheap due to high crime rate and plenty of low income housing. Only nice areas are closer to the beach and can get pricey.
There are other videos about nearby attractions. The title of this video is Review of Jones Park, Long Beach and Ken Combs Pier, hence the focus on the beach:)
Biloxi ... Bull-lux-ze is how it is pronounced. I think I saw your other video and I may have tried to give you a pronunciation of Biloxi in the comments. We love our yankee visitors, but hate how you can't speak the name of the places that you visit.
We tend to speak phonetically in the north. Yes, I believe this is the third comment you’ve left. Appreciate the attention and encouragement to bring travel into the area. Visitors stimulate the economy❤️💰

I lived in Gulfport when I was in my teens & this video makes me want to move back there.
I love the MS Coast! Best kept secret!
Very beautiful and clean . It's now on my list ..thanks.💕
Beach water appeared reasonably clean with clear color. Nice for some skin dipping in summer. 😘😘

Thank you for the polite feedback. I watched a few videos before visiting and was surprised to find it’s basically one area.
I love you Mississippi that's where I want to live

This video makes me wish I was in Dixie.
I’ve been there in spring break

They are just minutes apart. I would stay somewhere close to the beach🏖️
Beautiful footage, however the irritating repetitive background music nearly drove me insane-
It's very pretty
I live here and I’ve caught a bull shark and a blacktip sharks
How about showing Pasagula Ms I lived there in 1970
Great suggestion!
Go to Hot Springs,Arkansas do a video there ok thanks
My brother john rife poured all that contact

Cost of living in gulfport mississippi?
Howbto live there?
I cannot comment on that as a leisure traveler. I’d search UA-cam for videos about living there.

It's probably relative to where you are currently living.
Very cheap to live here for the most part
@@dssi5355 id disagree, there’s nice neighborhoods then and there all over
3 and 1/2 minutes of the video about the beach , doesn't leave much time for interesting stuff in the city.

Dont get in the water
Why?
