I painted the entire inside of my house as well. I was going in for cancer surgery and decided to do all the home projects on my list before I went through my mastectomy and chemo. What a job, but I finished it all in 2 weeks. The room I was most thrilled with was my stitching room. I was in my happy place! I reorganized all my projects by season and really sorted everything. Whew! You have kids so I know you did excellent to get it all done!!! I'm using your idea for the Four seasons border. I love it!!!
@harleyriderstitcher3951 painting an entire house is a huge accomplishment! I knew I wouldn't have time for it so I paid for that and just did the sun room. 😊
Great progress on your WIPS! I love the idea of hanging up your piece to appreciate them even though they are not finished. We put so much work into them that they should be hung and appreciated while they are in the WIP mode.
Hi Kim. Congratulations on your 3 finish. That's amazing. And more finishes to come. Love the gnomes. They are so cute. Great idea with the canvas. Can't say no to a free trip, even if it is for work. 1 hour for 16 km's. Blimey! I'm sure the sun room will look amazing. Happy belated Thanksgiving. And happy stitching🧵🪡🐈⬛🐈🦃🦃
Good progress on your wips and well done on your finishes they are beautiful, and friends forever nearly there, can’t wait for the full reveal. Take care.
Great seeing you again! I have never painted walls or a ceiling. Kudos to you! Love all of your projects even though I am not a dragon fan, your projects are so beautiful. Take care, Merry Christmas, and look forward to seeing you at the end of the year.
Hi Kim WOW!!! your finishes are stunning and beautiful. The gnomes are my favorite they are adorable. I love the stag and 4 seasons as well. You do a great job and I like your plans for this month. I have been working on my stitching of the moose and turkey (on plastic canvas) and hope to have them finished by the end of this month (keeping my fingers crossed). I also have been pulling out my 25 new starts and will be going to my LNS sometime soon to get material and look at patterns (been very busy). We had our roof done and two doors with screen doors front and back). I am looking forward to seeing your WIP parade. I miss the kitty's and Hopper. Hope to see them again. Wishing you and your family a Merry Christmas and a safe holiday. In the meantime Happy Stitching and be safe and kind. God bless Pat
Winter Stag is beautiful and the frame is perfect. Your stitching is amazing. Hope two coats of grey were all the walls needed. Ceilings are hard for the reasons you identified. I have the same problem with cleaning windows
One over one on 28 count?!! Fantastic job on Modern Folk Embroidery, congratulations on this finish! What a great year 2024 has been for your stitching, lots of progress and 3 finishes. Thanks for sharing your efforts; you remain an inspiration for me and others.
Many years ago, while I was teaching, I took the entire week of spring break and painted the inside of my house. I will NEVER paint another square inch again! It is important to find the things you don't like to do! Now that stitching that you do like to do is coming along beautifully! Love the gnomes - they are so cheerful.
@juliedyson3383 absolutely. Gotta try things out to see if you enjoy them and you can also save $ doing it yourself, but some things are worth spending the $! Happy stitching!
You always get so much progress done on all your projects and it makes you a real inspiration to watch. So many beautiful patterns you are doing. Painting ceilings is pure torture. Don’t ever try removing wall to wall carpeting and especially on stairs. There are reasons that those trades charge what they do. Wishing you a Merry Christmas with your family. Happy stitching to you.
I must admit that that was not a "fun" way to spend time around Thanksgiving!! But it will be nice to have that room like you want it and be able to use it next year. Always love your full coverage progress and it's great to see finished!
Hi Kim! great finishes … I just love those gnomes, they are so cute! That ort jar lamp is cool. I bet your sunroom is going to be awesome when it’s done. A sunroom is something I am really hoping to add to this house someday.
Beautiful finishes and progress as always. I'm looking forward to seeing what you get done with Museum Shelf. Have a great stitching month, and Merry Christmas to you and your family.
Thank you for the video. I love your finishes. I can't paint rooms for the life of me because I see 3 of things, so the wall is never totally covered. My sister and family had to come and fix the walls, but I can paint pictures very odd, but it works. I love your life updates. I am so grateful for all your adventures because mine are past, and I always love your victories.
Hi Kim Congratulations on your beautiful Finishes. They are so pretty. Love all of your WIPS - Beautiful Progress on them. Take Care & Happy Stitching ❤️🤗🧵🪡🧵❤️
With the book spine grids not being where you expected them - you can shift the chart grids in Pattern Keeper under settings: 10x10 grid settings: grid offset. Hopefully helpful for another time!
Always yes for a new full coverage start! 😂 I get all ready to pain and then start and realize why I hate it so much. My husband is better at painting but he despises it 😂😂
Nice progress on everything. I got Sundae Delight in the latest sale because of seeing yours. It looks like a fun stitch. Not sure when I'll start it. I'm doing the same dragon book as you. I haven't started yet but hope to this week. I hadn't thought about marking the rest of the pattern complete. When you finish that book will you unmark another one so that you can stitch it? Take care!
@maryannjohnson5410 awesome, Sundae Delight is a fun stitch! So many of us are doing the same dragon book so that's cool. And yes, once I finish that book, I'll unmark the stitches on another book. I think I have enough skinny strips of fabric for 2-3 more.
Do you get bored stitching just black in ECC? I love the idea of doing it that way and that's the perfect project, but I think I'd get bored. Congratulations on your finishes! Love all three. That frame for the mill hill though. Wow!!!! Perfect. Amazing how quickly you finished those gnomes! I know you thought of me when you said "fat little cardinal". Tee hee. I dislike painting.
I don't get bored stitching all the black first on the 3 that I've done I on because of how the black flows thru the pattern. Trick or Treat, SK What Lies Within and this stained glass pumpkin all have black that flows and not huge areas of black. I wouldn't do Odin ECC because there's enormous sections of black that would get really boring. Yes, I totally thought of you when I said fat little cardinal! 😄
Can't wait to see forever friends finished. Its so beautiful. Love the four seasons finish. Happy stitching

Love your projects especially the Spanglers and the Gnomes.
