Technically Shadow is a grand uncle. Since Gerald created Shadow he would be Shadows father; and since Gerald is Eggman’s grandfather, Shadow would be his Uncle. Then, since Eggman has a daughter in Sage (and arguably a son in Metal Sonic), Shadow would then be her (their) grand uncle.
