Hi Deepfried, Absolutely, go to the Design Tab and click Page Borders in the Page Background Group. From there, choose none in the top left and click OK and your border will be removed.
Hello sir, I do have a problem with my microsoft. When I edit the page border it appears full with 4 edges 2 from the top and 2 from the bottom but when I try to print, the border at the bottom is gone? do u know how do I adjust the setting?
Hi, The border will apply to all pages by default. I recommend using a preset cover page in Word rather than making your own if you don't want the border to be applied. Thanks for watching!
Because I have applied a page border in certificate and it is showing equal margin in n every side but when I am giving print command then side margin are showing different.
How could I add a border to, for instance, pages 1-40, while keeping 40-50 clear of borders and then on from 50+, is this doable in word? Thanks in advance.
Hi Sean, From what I understand, if you use the Page Borders (method in this video) button, the border is applied to the entire document, and cannot be customized on specific pages. I suppose a workaround to this would be to create the border, then recreate the border using the Shapes button in the insert tab. Then you could copy and paste that recreated border to all pages in your document that require the border. Then you could remove the original page border using the page border button. This seems like it would be tedious and a lot of work, but it could be done.
Hi Fiesta, I don't think so. Unfortunately, mobile is missing a lot of features that you'll find on the desktop version of Word. If you find a way to create a border, let me know. Thanks for watching.
Can someone please tell me how to add a border without a design tab I have a project I have to do and I can't find it no matter what I do, no matter what I search. It's due tomorrow so no one will probably see this to help me but even so I'd like to get some closure so if you know PLEASE help me out. This has been a frustrating experience.

Hi Alex, You can add borders around text as well. Typically if I want to bring the readers attention to specific text in a poster, I'll at a border or text box to my document and color it different from the rest of the information. Here is a video I made on text boxes as an example. ua-cam.com/video/avO-17od3fE/v-deo.html
Hi Shaneik, Word for iPad doesn't have Page Border functionality from what I understand. Sorry, you will need to use the full version of Office for this.

This would become useful when separating topics in a school poster or research.

Unfortunately, yes. You'll need to get a desktop version of the program to apply a border.
