Overrated? No. The greatest game of all time, not only because of the gameplay, but because of the memories, the trolling, the friends made, and so much more, I’m glad I was alive during its time, we will never have anything like it again.

When COD had less bunny hopping, booty sliding nerdsss besides dropshots
I don't think slide cancelling or tactical Sprint is really a problem to the majority of players

me personally i put bo3 over bo2 (probably because i wasn’t old enough to really understand what i was doing on bo2 vice versa for bo3) but bo2 was still such an amazing game and me and my dad used to play everyday after school great memories

Have never played multiplayer in this game. Have only started getting into it more when i was an adult, even zombies.
I am currently playing multiplayer for the first time in this game and man its such a blast. It legit feels better than all the other fps games ive tried in the last decade. Thats crazy to me…

I mean yeah, it wasn't plasticky, feel punchy and meaattttttt
But i can't into it because that gunshot sound effect are samey and it's like you filled a lot of gunpowder over bullets. I hope we can just customize gun sounds or uses BO1 gun sounds

Yes here’s why:
1.)The Snipers were some BS in the game (DSR 50 and Ballista)
2.) The semi-start of SBMM
PS these are my opinions however the maps, streaks and weapons like the AN-94, SCAR and FAL is what makes me come back to the game.

His campaing: It was okay, not a memorable history like infinity ward games but it was solid, and the message of Cordis die and how Menendez was intimidating make the campaing enjoyable, but it was not the best aspect of BO2.
Multiplayer: Did i need say something here? Is probably the best thing this game do. Balanced guns in the mayority of his life cycle, check. Good ranked mode, check. Fun, check. This multiplayer have everything u want in a call of duty title, and the best part is the non-existent SBMM.
Zombies: It was okay, trazit sometimes could be trash playing it for the easter egg but it was meh. The rest of the maps like origin are art.

its hilarious how the camos in this game are so much better than the camos in almost every cod since. in mw23 at least they made some effort to make the camos look good but I'm convinced that for BOCW they just reused the diamond camo pattern from this game but didn't do any of the work to make sure the texture was aligned or the right scale to look good.

I miss when cod was simply and fast paced and when the maps were actually good like it hard for me to play any new cod because the randomness of every lobby is gone because they turn Sbmm up to the max so now every lobby feel harder then rank and my ping is at 150 because In the newer cods ping is not king.
And we don’t need useless things like tac running or sliding and what the point of adding sliding when we have like nothing to slide under
I just bought BO2, it feels so awkward playing it after playing MW2019 for so long. Hard to believe that this was the COD only 11 years ago. The graphics and movement looks like something from 20 years ago.

PC version had no mods, no dedicated servers, etc.
Console players just had low standards. Try seeing the peeker's advantage in this game while in splitscreen. It's absolutely horrendous. Bad netcode is literally built into the game. Some of the worst netcode in whole CoD franchise.
Also slower paced than CoD 4, as you can't sprint immediately after a jump. It was never that good. CoD 4 is still the best.

Whoever sees this but never played it before: This is true Call of Duty. I’d recommend people to watch old videos to see how the lobbies were like. No stupid voice chat censorship, great maps, a normal matchmaking system and overall great guns.
Plus, camos and reactive camos were affordable ($1-2) and could be applied to every weapon. They also included extra reticles and calling cards.
Portable headglitch, excessive camping and quickscopers yeah great game...
It is by far the best COD of all time! A majority of players agree!
@@CarbonHippo i agree the game did some things right but still just because majority agrees doesnt mean thats the case. I remember back in those days people were roasting bo2 because of weird quickscoping mechanics. So much that memes were made that said cod bo2 the game where snipers rush and the dudes with automatic weapons camp in corners. If you dont believe me search for blackworm, a youtuber that demonstrates that camping like crazy is way more efficient than rushing/moving
