Thanks for the unboxing and build review,Jon! I really love this kind of video. Now,I can't wait for you to field this army in next FoW battle report. 😊
Hetzer/Marder track issue! Tried to magnetize myself and could not get it work with the angle of the hull on the Hetzer. Bought some Oyumaru mold making and green stuff! works very well. Ran thru a test of some random tracks I had and it worked well given its a flat surface it will mount to. Just something to think about.
Using German marked Panther for the Hungarians shouldn't be an issue. From what I've heard, the Germans transferred their vehicles to the Hungarians directly from one combat unit to another on the front lines. There was no opportunity to send them back to be repainted and remarked.
For the hetzer/marder kit I bought some 3d printed tracks for it and for 3 euro's per tank more I have both without having to work with magnets for the tracks. So I say let them keep doing this, if I can get some 3d printed tracks for it to get double the tanks I am fine with it. Would be great if they would just add extra tracks, but that would probably make them to cheap :P. With the shermans for the americans I just don't mind the small differences between the 76 and 75mm hull and just exchange them in the case I need more of one or the other.
Might not be as good of quality, but I 3D print all my flames of war stuff (can’t afford the real deal). You could 3D print a pair of tracks for that Hetzer! In fact, aren’t they just Panzer 38t tracks?
That's what I did to build my Marders. I found Marders on Thingiverse, which had separate tracks, and scaled the length to the FoW tracks and printed them. There are several different options on Thingiverse which have varying detail on the track wheels.
@@davidschneider5462 Don't have a 3d printer, but someone sells an exact 3d printed copy of the ones in the kit and for 3 bucks more to get twice the tanks I don't mind it.
I don’t really see the point in this army deal the only unit in it that makes it different from a german one is the Zrinyl no Todi light tanks or infantry
Me too, though I understand they can only have so many things made in plastic, especially for minor powers like this. If I could only have one in plastic I would have wished for the Zrinyi. Such a cool looking thing.

Neat little addition to flames of war might spice things up
Useful. Thanks.

Hope Finland is up next for the next starter.
That would be awesome but I haven't heard a peep about it. with Bulge stuff ramping up I don't see a Finland Starter box happening.

Now I don't know why I didn't think of this! I'll have to do a seach and see what I can find! Thanks for the suggestion.
How you storage all your minis??? thnak you
I use walmart stackable tubs, I should do a video of this.
@@AllMiniaturesGreatandSmall A video will be very useful. Thank you!

Do you remember which STL? having trouble finding one with seperate tracks.
@@AllMiniaturesGreatandSmall No sorry. I don't 3D print, I just saw someone else do it.
No infantry for the Hungarians?
Not in the starter box anyways.

So sad there is no plastic Turan
Agreed, felt like a wasted opportunity
Should have been on the Zryini sprue for sure, especially considering that Marder/Hetzer monstrosity.
