      +Cuisine Mauritian the taste was there but mine kept eating all the oil and it was more like a puri
      I will try again next time xx

      You Need to Fry them into Hot Oil. And Most Important allow the dough to rest.

      U put 3/4 cup of oil in the ingredients its too much coz in the video u put 1/4 cup of oil u must rectify the ingredients coz its too much oil.. Mine became too oily i've put 3/4 cup of oil as indicated in the ingredient list 🙄🙄

    If you like Merveilles you should try Sopaipillas, they are similar, but they also have pumpkin.

    This is not the recipe for merveille. One very important step is missing. The merveille will taste very oily and fried flour will upset your stomach.

      @@lydiaregal9631 you should heat both sides for approx 15 to 20 secs each side of the final flattened dough on a tawa or wok like u do for crepes but very slightly so that no brown dots should appear nor it should be burnt.

      It is puri only... Just make it more flat or make holes in it with fork
