I love the fabrics you got, especially the greys. Fellow anxiety sufferer here so I feel you. We already think the worst, global pandemics do not help! Feeling very grateful for the stitching community and the extra flosstubes to help keep us away from the news. I’ll be thinking of you Mel.
Thank you for the video! I think it's great that you are doing it because in this times of uncertainty that affects us all, we can always turn to our hobbies to alleviate the anxiety/stress/worries (at least for me). So, thank you, I am grateful :)
I do the same, so I get it! If it weren't for my stitching, I would probably spend most of the day in bed right now with my anxiety getting the best of me.
Love your Spring Hare Etching 😍 and all those fabrics! You've certainly got a knack for naming them! Definitely envious of your massive haul, especially Bower Birds. Gorgeous! Be well!!! ❤️
I’m so glad you posted a video! The anxiety is REAL right now. Thank goodness for this community and stitching during this scary time. 💛 I’m about to have a blame purchase because that Friendship Sampler kit is breathtaking! 😍 those colors!
The video doesn't do the Friendship Sampler justice at all. It's even more beautiful in person! I thought it was very reasonably prices, too. I only paid $43 and change plus shipping for the full kit.
I love all the fabric you got! I need to buy some more of hers to go with all my new Market patterns lol!! I love me some haul so the more, the better! Stay safe!
Beautiful finishes!! I love that Home piece - going to download it ASAP. All of the Brandy fabrics are gorgeous!! I'm a part of the group & so far have managed to hold back, but it is so so tempting. And yasssssss - so glad I enabled you!! And now I feel enabled to pull that sampler back out & get to work on it lol. I stitched the Rose Sampler by EMS a while back! And I think I used DMC 823 & 915? I looooooove a nice dark blue for a sampler! Loved seeing all your haul - especially the Blackbird flipthrough & can't wait to see all your WIPs! Take care, Mel!!
Hi! I'm Debi, another Miller from Southern California. I just found your channel and look forward to catching up. Noticing you haven't posted for a few months. I hope you are well and busy (maybe even in a fun way) and/or that you haven't given up here.
Ummm....LOVE all your haul 😍. I had seen the I Will Cut You pattern on a market video and sent a picture of it to Amanda. I will definitely need to get that pattern and I Will Throat Punch You when that comes out! Amanda says both of those phrases 🤣.
I love how Brandy does that, I named Gaia & burnt toast. 😍 I ordered a large cut of vanilla latte. Lol Toast is my fave! I know! I didn’t even get any fight night fabrics. 😭 I just direct message her for what I want. Lol Love your haul!
I will definitely be direct messaging her for some yardage of vanilla latte! I thought you were the person named Gaia, but I couldn't remember for certain and didn't want to say it and then be wrong. LOL
Hi Melissa, I totally agree with you about stitch from stash versus supporting our shops. You bought some beautiful things. I got the Bower Birds and Kringles. That modern folk embroidery sampler is really pretty too. I also used to shop at needlepoints ltd. for cross stitch supplies, but have gone to mostly online. I hope she survives this. Just so you know, I emailed Drema a week ago about ordering and never heard back. I’ve since ordered elsewhere. Is that a typical length of time for her? I’ll try her again the future. Enjoy your stitching time. Susan
I've switched to online shopping completely. I also hope Diana survives this latest crisis. I really wish she hadn't dropped most of her xstitch stuff, but understand completely why she did after having to downsize her location twice to just stay afloat. That's definitely not been my experience with Drema as far as response times go. Of course, these aren't normal times either. I generally hear back from her within a day, or two at most. Definitely give her a try again! Be sure you're using her new email address (drema@needlecraft-corner.com) and not her old aol one.
Stitcher Mel that’s the email I used. I will try her again and you are so right, we are not in normal times. And I’ve got plenty to stitch! I remember Needlepoints Ltd. when her mother had the store. That was at least 3 locations ago! They had so much cross stitch at that point. I did more needlepoint at that time and the thread selection was awesome. Take care of yourself. Susan
@@goldenstitcher Her mother was still running the shop when I first started going there as well, but was on the decline so Diana was already working in the shop at that point. I remember when they had the "big" store at Garden Grove Blvd. and Beach Blvd. There was such an amazing selection and a nice class room space. She still carries a nice selection of threads from what I hear, but it just doesn't make sense to go there for threads when I can't get any charts to go with them. 😕
Thanks, Karoline! ❤️ Being completely honest, I'm struggling a bit with all the emotions between the whole pandemic situation and my dad's health situation, but I'm trying to hang in there and keep it all together.
It's OK to touch your face, UNLESS you were near people, and if you were near people, wash your hands with soap. If you're by yourself at home -- touch away. I love your BeStitchme fabric but she doesn't have any vanilla latte listed or gray... sad for me. Thanks for showing me. Do you have anything stitched on 22 ct aida? I'm not familiar with that aida.
Good point! I do live alone so I guess it doesn't matter as much. LOL Yes, I do have a recent finish (Dorothy's Red Shoes by The Little Stitcher) that was stitched on 22 count. You can see a photo of my finish on my blog: www.stitchermel.com/2020/03/finishes-conversions.html

Love all your haul - WOW. You will be busy for quite a while!!! Fantastic seeing everything. Stay safe.

Thanks, Erin! I definitely had fun naming them. Stay safe & healthy!!
I too suffer with depression and anxiety- really hard right now! Thinking about you and hoping you stay safe and well!💕

Stitcher Mel I’m going to have to give them a call and get a kit ordered! I’m sold! lol 🤗
@@brittneywendholt9150 I'm going to start mine soon, but we should totally do a SAL on this!
Stitcher Mel I’m so in! 😊 I’ll try to get mine ordered today and then let you know once it’s arrived and I’ll get started!
@@brittneywendholt9150 Sounds good!!!
Holy haul! LOVE it!
Hope you are finding peace!

I love her fabrics so much!!! Go get some! 😂
Nice to find you😀. Love your fabric choices. Wish I lived in USA. Enjoyed my visit. Take care
I'm not sure where you live, but Brandy from BeStitchMe ships internationally. 😊
Thank you. I live in England. Take care

Thanks!
Your haul was amazing-thanks for sharing! Hope you are doing ok and getting some stitching in despite everything going on! ~Jaffe
You did too do some finishing last year - you made that pin cushion for me!
