Thank you for posting this! Been considering the Easy Touch for my 2023 International - your video is good background before I start down that rabbit hole.
For sure! Assuming your international has the Dometic AC, the wiring should be an easy RJ45 connector. Best of luck on the install and thanks for watching!
@@MakeItRad Good to know! My AC unit is indeed a Domestic.
Installed in our 2018 International. Works incredibly well. Doing the easy start modules for the A/C units next to extend battery life.
A very worthwhile upgrade for sure. I just updated the firmware and the UI received some nice updates as well. Thanks for watching!
Thanks for the info! We toured the mothership yesterday and see they are installing GE Profile units now. There were a few Dometics still on a few new ones, but the majority were GE's. Curious to know if those are already smart ready. Great job!
I hope to make it out for a tour one day. Yes, the Flying Cloud, Trade Wind, and International are all using the GE models now. The Globetrotter, Pottery Barn, and Classic use the Coleman. There is a micro air thermostat for the GE available on the micro air site. The only limitation as I understand is if you have 2 AC units, you will need 2 seperate micro-air units as well. The coleman and dometic used a single thermostat with sepeerate zones to control both. So unfortunately the upgrade will cost 2x for those with 2 ac units.
I believe this is the model you will need for GE: www.microair.net/collections/easytouch-rv-thermostat-ge-replacements
Thanks for watching!
ZC=Zone Control.
Makes sense! Thanks for watching!
Did you, or are you, going to install a Level Mate Pro?
Greetings. The LevelMate Pro was one of my first upgrades. Its a nice little tool, and the bluetooth range is decent enough to use from the truck. I may move it to an area where it gets hardwired power vs battery down the road. Thanks for watching.
So my camper has two AC units. And the thermostats are like a inch away from each other. Do they make a model that can control two AC units ?
Greetings. This has the dual AC units as well (both with heat pump functionality) and 1 separate gas furnace. The single Micro-Air runs it all. You might reach out to Micro-Air regarding your setup to see what's the best configuration for your camper. Hope this helps, thanks for watching!
