Thanks for the time and putting together this video Dean! Glad you enjoyed the Bronco and got a chance to hear it in person. Hope to see you at the next show!
Best part of install is ....he ran nice aftermarket speaker wire from amps directly to speakers...as opposed to running amps to factory speaker wires at factory amp location..I sleep better now..my work is done.
haha, we did this for you :) Or we didn't have the factory plug at the factory locations and instead of splicing which we do not do, we ran new wire so the Bronco can go back to factory.
I watch their channel also. I saw when they dropped this off and watched the build videos. The fact he is critical of his own work I can't respect enough in this day of age.
Bought my Illusion 3.5 and 6” through SoundsGoodStereo a few months back. They were the only Illusion Dealer that were responsive and helpful. Will definitively be looking at them for the install when I get to that point!!
I got a demo in this in March, it’s definitely an experience. I’m going to a DSP training with Sage in a couple weeks, I’m excited to learn some new stuff!
@@MrALAVOL99 @Tech fanatic is correct. While 5 Star's D & F do excellent work, they DO NOT do 100% custom fabrication like this, which goes well beyond their relatively simple laser cut tweeter mounts and speaker rings. The ENTIRE cargo area of this Bronco is CUSTOM FABRICATED, with a 100% bespoke subwoofer enclosure and amp rack that incorporates custom formed acrylic, formica, color-matched vinyl and carpet, and LED lighting. D & F simply DO NOT do that type of work. This install is more in line with what Mark at *Car Audio Fabrication* can do, but goes even beyond that IMO... D & F also do not create anything like the 100% custom dash speaker grills that were made for this install. They just make custom laser-cut speaker & tweeter Mounting Adapters which allow them to make use of the OEM grills. There is a huge difference between the two. Again, I'm not knocking what D & F do, but it's just not comparable. Yes, what D & F do is probably better than 90% of the Best Buy installs that are done, but there is nothing really custom or bespoke about their work. As a side note, there have been several installers in the MECP TOP 50 that formerly came from Best Buy. So there's that.
@@haileyb.6652 yes serious open your eyes look at Matt Schafer Brian Mitchell the guy your dad is interviewing in this video watch there projects and then look at the under the seat installation that your dad always does now I never said they where not good at what they do but let’s stay in reality
As I've gotten older, I've realized that volume is only good to a point. I use to want it super loud and clear now I just want it as loud and clear. A very well tuned and balanced 200 watt system can be as good if not better than a well tuned 1000 watt system. If you are only ever using a quarter of that 200 watts in the normal routine. Then you got 950 wasted watts. Save ya money and build smartly.
Cool video. Sometimes I drive through Mt Juliet. Maybe I will stop by their shop and have a listen to one of their floor vehicles. That would be fun. Just out of curiosity...did Sage say how many 10s of thousands a system like that would cost? 🤑
You got to Pay to Play! :-P :-( When you are an in-demand shop that is top notch and always extremely busy, you can afford to charge almost whatever you want. This weeds out the smaller, basic installs that don't create very much profit margin. It is a business after all, and making money is priority # 1. Unfortunately for the masses, any shop that does top notch work like this is bound to have an extensive waiting list and charges accordingly.
Sage is the man..... Scott from Music In Motion is INCREDIBLE also. Granted he used to work with sage at SGS.
“Ahhhh baby…” Dean 2022❤❤😂😂

The best thing about the Bronco is being able to put speakers in the kicks!
Thanks for calling out that volume control feature
@@touring189 No problem, it’s too bad they didn’t elaborate on it

Very nice and I believe the audio build cost more than the Bronco. Clean and I mean Clean design.
I'd love to see you guys do something like this I bet it would be absolutely AWESOME
They don’t do installations like this more Best Buy type stuff just with lots of zip ties 😀
@@ljrand3 seriously
@@ljrand3 you really must be joking. These guys are one of the best I've ever seen everything is done to protection

Pilot Tone Control! Mosconi is awesome!
Wow ! Volume control on the HU of the optical? That's slick. Thanks for pointing this out @caraudiohorizons
