Can't trust a word Karan Johar says here. He knows if he wants his movies to do well there he needs him by his side & show respect to that industry. Where was this praise for the South industry when they've been giving us great movies since decades. Why didn't he praise Kangana's Thalaivii? He knew with Bahubali, the hindi audience would prefer more south movies & that would eat up sales or streaming of his own movies. It's a wake up call for Karan Johar & he knows collaboration is the only way to save his name by being associated with those who actually make breakthrough films. It's forced him to raise the bar of his own production house & need the South industry's assistance to ensure they come out well.
