What?... a right hand shooter turning toward his right?.....makes for less smooth and awkward arm movements as you pivot. Was trained ( as a right handed shooter)., to swing your left foot , back and around ( pivoting on the stationary right foot/toes), twisting toward- left as you turn....MUCH smoother ( counter-clockwise as viewed from above). Doing it the way done here in the vid....swinging the opposite direction toward your shooting hand side...makes you "dance" a double-tap with your 2 feet. Turning to the left, you only swing one leg around the pivoting right leg....smoother/faster.
How long ago? I’ve always seen it and done it with turning towards the gun. To me it feels smoother and allows me to bring the gun straight up to the first target faster.
@@rifleshooterchannel208 .....seems that a right-hand shooter turning right ( meaning, as viewed from above looking down, clockwise) results in awkward foot movements to complete the turn. If done the other way, swinging the left foot back and around ( looking down on the shooter, counterclockwise) results in a much smoother 180 degree pivot. And you feet don't do the little shuffle dance to get re-positioned. Just sharing....yes, many years ago, around Jeff Cooper's height in popularity......
@@TheWilferch I think the right turn (for right handed shooter) stems more from competition usage. It's so you can get the gun out faster without breaking the 180 rule.
lol does it make his skills and advice less credible because the targets aren’t the classic black ones? Just think of it as him shooting the woke ideology you hate so much. 🤣
Both El Presidente + Mozambique Drills combined into a single one would be wild!
The drill was developed for a South American presidential detail.
How far apart are the targets?
What holster is that?
“THE” Sean Murphy!
I think you mean South American*

if the guys have you at gun point youre gonna get hit on your shooting arm first as you twist....i was trained in the marine corps at quantico ...
It’s faster turning into the gun
This has had to have happened to him more than once.?
Take the opportunity to practise the El Presidente. No charge.
Trash.
👎🤦👎🤮👎👻👎
Why are you using woke targets? You lose some credibility.
