The bose are nice but the air pods max are next level. If mine broke they would instantly be replaced. When I get overstimulated I sometimes sit with them on with just the noise cancelling and it actually feels like my brain is having a hug

If you are in the Apple ecosystem the airpod max is definitely the way to go the Bose QC ultra I returned because siri would never work , Bluetooth was in and out and you definitely have to play with the settings. I got the airpod max and been in love ! So seamless and the transparency mode and noise cancellation is out of this world
My dtr has Bose sound canceling and loves it. She gets overstimulated like you and it really helps her stay calm and focused.
