From what I know the name is very fitting considering how they alert you as the chime you hear from what I know is from the chime whenever the interloper appears in the horror series the interloper (ik very fitting name)
3:30 if you lock the hell in and pay attention, you can hear the chimes play, it's just very quiet and only plays the end part more clearly. Edit: 4:27 same here, u just gotta have the volume be a lil louder. Edit 2: 5:06 this one is harder to listen, but if uve heard the chime sound more times, u can hear it.
from what i've seen, interloper can spawn at: both ends of the laser hallway in lab the bridge to mountain cave entrance near the bungalows crosspaths near generators and above docks
