Its so crazy that people cheat saying "I just got bored with it" but then they are buying garbage accounts to play over and over. Clearly its not boring enough for you to stop coming back.

if you can't do the PVP just get on a PVE server. I had enough with PVP so I stick with a PVE and I found a nice server with lots of mods on it that make the environment pretty challenging.

When a cheater is building a base infront of you, keep deleting just the one wall their trying to place. Just the singular wall they keep placing. It would be hilarious
I got back on rust for the first time in months the other day. Was on a server for about 8 minutes and saw "Kicked for Cheating - Camomo" first time I have seen it IRL. Kinda cool!

This is the only reason I would possibly go PC, I would love to play Rust on a server with good admins. Never played the game, but your videos are gold. UA-cam’s random suggestion to watch became a great source of entertainment. Keep it up man.

@@captain_britain yep. Not going to lie, it did cross my mind to cheat in order to meet comomo. Maybe do something funny or tell him a joke.
But yeah, cheaters want attention. The loot is irrelevant, but having people look up to you for thinking you are good isn't.
And people fighting for your attention feels nice. Whenever I start mobile legends I get barraged with messages and invites. Same thing happens on Hypixel Skyblock (mmorpgish), cause I am obscenely rich in that game. Ironically on mobile legends it is impossible to cheat and would result in a permanent ban, on Skyblock there is no purpose behind it. Not only you will get banned, you will also not benefit from it in any way. It's a sure fire way to get a RAT or keylogged among many other things.

Happened a few times.
There is an actual plague of cheating now the game is so much fun when people aren't cheating. Facepunch and EAC need to get their shit together. I had a guy on UKN earlier flying around the FFA map for 2 hours before he got banned. He didn't get banned because Facepunch has detection methods or EAC caught him.... he got banned because of an admin like Camomo that jumped on and banned his ass. It is sad that this is how it is. Keep up the great work Camomo congrats on your Logitech gear.
60-80% of rust players are cheating. its not a game anymore, its a playground for sick in the head people. unfortunate as its a fun game but facepunch supports cheaters by doing nothing to prevent them.
The little detail of Camomo looking almost at the keyboard and mouse but not quite, is absolutely hilarious to me
I like how professional you are and you can see how appreciative people are when you follow up with them and show how dedicated you are to making rust a cleaner game

I like how admins in PC are actually active and monitor the server. On console admins build ridiculously large unraidable bases and does their own thing

What you should do is when he gets in a fight, make his frames drop soon as he shoots his first bullet. Nothing more infuriating than loosing frames or start lagging in a fight.

Picture this: Server-side plugin keeps track of the buildings/items placed by each player, and the order in which they were placed.
Plugin also includes a command Camomo can use to troll cheaters, by sending their bases 'back in time' - essentially reversing their actions, making their base progressively smaller & less fortified, until eventually they're stuck in their original 2x1 (which of course explodes).
(Ideally when boxes get deleted, the loot still drops in bags as usual - so the neighbors still get a chance at free stuff)
...If only I knew the slightest thing about coding admin plugins :D

Look, dud, you don't have a RIGHT to the server, you have a paid license to use it accordance with the terms and conditions of the license. The don't have to provide you with Miranda rights and a public hearing to discuss things - they just ban you.

I don't get how cheaters are so stupid. If they have ESP, they should be able to see you coming from a mile away and see you have a gun, and take you out long before you have a chance to get close. Ergo, you suddenly appearing on their doorstep, packed to the gills with good loot, should be a solid indication that you're an admin. But instead, they go "ooh, free loot!" and take the bait, like how stupid can they be?
Simply put: It's a trade secret. Why he knows or how he knows is only between servers and himself.

These cheaters really struglly with the idea that VPNs are dynamic IPs... they can see when the same account uses several different IPs and how frequently it has changed. You would need to do a static IP VPN through a game server, etc.
