I bought citrus oud based on your recommendation. Thinking it would be a tri-brid of the 3. My bottle is from 4/2024. I just got it 2 days ago along with Nayel Oud. This citrus oud for me, it smells pleasant enough. The first sprays from the bottle on my skin was straight cedrat boise no aventus, no hacivat. Sprayed it the next day and the scent changed. I've never smelled aventus but it wasn't hacivat or cedrat that I was smelling the second day. Did a full wearing today. Unless citrus oud has been reformulated in 8 - 9 months, this far from a beast. It's very light with no projection, sillage, or longevity on my skin. Which is really hard to do actually. A lot of fragrances people have that issue with work pretty good on my skin. I know skin chemistry and all that plays a part or whatever. Like I've said it smells pleasant enough, but other than that... I was disappointed no fault at you. I'll let it macerate til the middle of August and see what happens by then.. Paris Corner's Emir cedrat essence is a much stronger fragrance from the onset. And the first sprays from citrus oud smelled like this. I don't get the oskmoss from hacivat nor the smokiness juniper, or pineapple from aventus. I wish have Hamidi's addicted intense as well as club de nuit parfum limited edition. They both out perform citrus oud. On that front alone, I prefer those 2 over citrus oud. I'll revisit it in 2 months.
