Don't know the first thing about driving semis but I sure think Peterbilts are the coolest looking trucks on the road. My favorites are the ones all decked out with lights at night. They're like highway battleships, going out to fight for our supply chains. I appreciate truckers!
Yeah when i first heard a jake brake i was maybe 9 or 10 it was a shiny peterbilt 379 or 389 and man i fell in love and i loved trucks sinve, now im 23 and had a CDL for a lil over a year and working hard to get me my dream truck
Like Joe Perry says, "Let the (Cat) music do the talking." No yapping, no wanking, no dead space, just you rowing gears and Jaking through some pretty country. Thank you for taking us along for the ride.
Sure takes me back to my coal hauling days, that driving ain’t for sissies 😆 roll out at 4 and park ol girl down around 6-7, I poured myself into bed like pancake batter
even though I am a software engineer but sometimes i wish i can drive this is real life on long open roads, and funny thing is whenever i play truck games, i always play or choose this big truck Love American made beautiful big peterbuilt truck ❤
Awesome footage, that Kitty Cat sounds great especially through the tunnels, and you were definitly busy that entire drive with all the elevation changes!
Reminds me if when my father drove a car hauler rig, was an 2004 Pete 379 with a 475hp C15 Acert, heard those were problematic, even though our motor was knock on wood and never gave issues.
Awesome video! Had my speaker cranked listening to that CAT sing! I find it relaxing after a long day. Be sure to post more, and maybe do a walk around on your Pete if you haven't already.
Had to watch this in 'two bites', but enjoyed every minute of it. Your truck sound fantastic Sir, I could listen to it all day. Don't get chance to hear these things much as I live in the UK. Hope you post more very soon as I see you have just started posting videos recently. All the best for 2023, Norm in Yorkshire, England, UK.
I have watched it 3 times today. The sound of the truck is phenomenal. Gear changes are on point. I’m sure the viewers would love a walk around of the truck too.
You're welcome. It's not just a job, it's a life style. Patience is key. Don't get all worked up and in a hurry. Once trucking gets in your blood, you're hooked
Hey man, I see a bunch of comments asking (more like telling) you to do certain videos. It's your truck, your gear, and your time. Upload whatever and whenever you want brother. I'm personally just happy to come along for a ride on a sweet sounding Pete every now and again.

It would be cool to see some load/unload conestoga footage unedited to see the difference from conestoga compared to flatbed. Your ride is dope as f*ck. The only way it could get more bad a$$ than it already is, is if had the 7cz C-16 under the hood.
@@TheRipper814 Yeah Weaver’s amazing in it. The terror and frustration he portrays is so well acted. Recently found your channel and like it as I live in England and the trucks we have are small and, well, weak at the side of yours. A walk around would be awesome. Cheers 🤘🏻
@@blackpagan100 it's a company truck. Not sure if i wanna show the name. It's a silver peterbilt 389 with a 6nz caterpillar and full 8 inch straight pipes. 18 spd with 3.55 gears. Ah, that sweet Kitty Cat music! Love it! What transmission are you running? Can you please do tons more videos exactly like this, but 8-10 hours long instead? Also, please begin each video with engine startup, shift at super high RPM's, and end each video with engine shutdown. I want to be able to listen to this all night, since sounds like this help me fall asleep. Please let me know ASAP.
@@TheRipper814 And you'll do what I requested, right? Please try your best to do 8 - 10 hours, if not, then as long as possible. For me, the longer the videos, the better! Please let me know ASAP.

Yeah I've heard the alerts were ify. The twin turbos weren't that impressive. Pulled good though.
The problematic portions of the truck were the most reliable, go figure 😂 I loved how it sounded, CATs in general are glorious
bro do more vids like this one. this is the shit. love the sound of the cat turbos whistling
