Some estimate that only 14-16million BTC are still accessible, at $1mil a coin that is a 14-16T market cap, very possible.
It might take longer than some expect imo, I hope BTC grows organically at a somewhat steady pace. It's so unique that maybe this is our one good shot at something revolutionary. It's a marathon not a sprint.

Buying a whole bitcoin is not really out of reach for most people in the UK. Putting £200 aside per month could get you there within 8 years.

That's quite a big assumption that it would stay at the current price for 8 years which historically never happened before. Unless you were joking..

@@Fyloeu That's why I used the word could. Obviously there'll be ups and downs (hopefully mostly ups), but my point is that it is realistic for people (in developed countries) to aim to own a whole bitcoin if they start buying now.

I think we will reach 2 million $ per BTC around 2040.
However, we won't break the previous ATH for years, we're just starting a global recession which might even be a depression like the 1920's.

@@MikeStillUK I think there's been too much money printing during the last couple years, we're only now tasting the consequences of that via inflation.. People would get angry if QE went into overdrive again so quickly.
Just my opinion though, I secretly want BTC to stay low for a bit longer so I can accumulate ;)
