Bulk of people arrested on OSU campus not affiliated with school

- In the last two days, there have been about 40 arrests on the Ohio State University's campus after police had to break up a pro-Palestine encampment.
Only 18 were university students.

My feelings are this, most Americans don’t care about Palestine, Israel, Ukraine and Russia. We care about elderly people not be able to pay for help at their house, grocery cost and fuel cost. If you care so much for Palestine etc, go use your energy over there, don’t be disrupting Ohio state students who pay to go there and need to study. Sleep is important to these students.

Its a public university supported by public tax dollars. Provided they aren't committing any criminal infractions, they are welcome. Unfortunately these folks couldn't be satisfied with just protesting, they had to sprinkle a little criminal activity on top. it smacks of having a weak argument if the only way you can get what you want is to commit crimes. Then again, we are talking about people who justify terrorism as long as the terrorists are on the "right" side of history (according to them).

If you’re in college, and you support Palestine, go into the office and request a refund. No one should have to pay to be that stupid.
Glad they got to take of this freshman who doesn't know anything about the world. Or really doesn't know anything about Ohio State nor does she really care if it messes up graduation for the seniors because she's not one. And her 4 years of hard work aren't on the line. Very interesting they interviewed a freshman. I imagine most of the seniors were staying away from the protest because they had things more important in their lives to tend to and prepare for and weren't going to risk throwing away their hard work for what are rather silly protest. I'm not saying that the death of all the innocent children in Gaza should be overlooked. But too many of these protests are affiliating with people outside of the campus community and they are not being clear about their mission with concern to the innocent people dying in Gaza and they are allowing it to appear as if they support not just Palestine but even Hamas. And they aren't making it clear that the terrorist actions of moss are also not acceptable. That's my big problem with all these protests
