I just got the same radio… the telemetry option would be good for the battery status… that’s all I want to use it for… and on the race I turn off all low voltage shut off… like you said you only needed 20 more seconds which would not have damaged anything… playing with fire literally. But in a intelligent way.. Cheers bro. Hope your well.
It’s off road racing… your basically throwing down a set of stairs every race… they do pretty well regardless… mugen for tank quality in my thoughts but even then nothing’s perfect… I love how your giving props to the RTR’s… with love and care they go great.
My serpent has been significantly more durable than the 2 Mugens I ran before Serpent, the Mbx7eco, and 7r eco. The Mugen was very tough and drove great, but I switched to Serpent 2 years ago and, love them!
Cool video man! I run serpent and they are very good. All cars have issue's like you said, the serpent rtr cars and quite a step above a standard rtr. Make sure to lock-tight all gub screws going into metal, like the drive train. Also upgrade the connetors to xd90 is the standerd in my area. Good luck this year!
Yeah lock tight is a must on all cars. The xd90s seem to be the popular ones but I run the ec5s. They are 5mm connectors vs 4.5mm xds. Which is the same size as what direct battery post connectors would be.
I just ordered one today. What do you feel about the speed with stock electronics? I'm not put off by the broken servo. I was going to upgrade the servo anyway if I need to. Your car did take some massive hits with the stupid high jumps.
well it didn't end up being the servo after all. I found another issue which is discussed in the next video. the car stock is amazing. gearing might be the only thing it needs honestly.
they are really good, the remote is the worst part, good power, i still have stock motor and esc just replaced servo with 130t protek. its a good buy 4sure...

serpent truggy and buggy which is has better handling ?
Truggies are always gonna handle better. Wider and a lot bigger and wider tires. A lot of grip!
@@theatvfamily thanks for the quick reply.😌
