How To Store Raw Mango For Long Time | Raw Mango Storage
Ingredients:
Raw Mangoes - According to how many you want to store; Around 5 kg should last you entire year depending on your use
Method:
The raw mangoes you choose should be white from inside, which means they should be very sour. If they start changing colour they'll not be sour and won't give the desired result. Wash all the mangoes and wipe them with a clean cloth. Peel all of them and cut them into pieces of desired size. I prefer to cut them small. Put all the pieces in zip loc bags. You can use multiple bags. Zip loc bags will also save a lot of space in your freezer. Seal the bags and keep them in the freezer. Whenever you want to use, take a few pieces from the bag, seal the bag and keep it back immediately in the freezer. You can use these in rasam, sambar, all types of dal or in any recipe that needs some kind of sourness. You can use it for an entire year if you stored enough quantity.
