One of the best short movies I saw since a while. I think this is what kitesurfing's all about! Beautiful sceneries, traveling and get the most out of what mother nature has to deliver.
This video is absolutely awesome! I am kiting since 2016 and I saw a lot of kitesurfers all over the world. Steven, your style of surfing and kind of doing unbelievable maneuvers is unique and absolutely fantastic!! I found your youtube channel a few days ago and now I am enjoying your Videos! Thank you so much for doing this!
i’ve watched so many kiteboarders and some may jump higher or wind the kota contest but your style and your steez as they would say in skateboarding is unbelievable, how clean and effortless u make the tricks look, truly a blessing to watch such a gifted kiteboarder! amazing short movie enjoyed every second of it
@@stevenakkersdijk Hard to go wrong in the Rockies but have to say. You make that back roll at min 8 looks sooooo easy. I'll have to keep working on that. It's more a leap turn for me. Gotta figure how to float like that.
Steven first of all I would like to give u a special Tks for your contribution in the knowledge of the kite with your videod very well done. I am not english fluent and I appreciate a lot when u make your resumen splitting on the left side the video . And more because u give us the key points to work and somewhere prevents accidents. Thank you very much for your message Daniel! I'm very happy to hear that you're enjoying the videos and sport so much! Keep on shredding and have fun out there 🤙
You are an absolute wizard!!! The best combo of style and technicality in the game. That second inverted rotation at 8.20 is something else. Haven't seen any quite like that. Great editing and feel, too. Looking forward to more.
Thanks 😉 Had a few moments on this trip where I landed a few new combinations. That double backroll kiteloop is not really something new, but I don't think there is anyone out there that does it that way..
Beautiful video guys! Reminds me of the time my wife and I spent in British Columbia between Whistler, Vancouver island and the Rockies further east, it's an amazing landscape
Thanks Ben! Was a lot of work for sure, but sooo rewarding. 🤙 After visiting the Rocky mountains I'm quite convinced I should also come over to the Alps. So hopefully see you soon!

Two thumbs up. Outstanding Vlog and adventures on all counts. This is what the the kite community wants to see! Keep them coming. You found some slick spots that I'm sure will be visited more frequently now as a result of you. And, what a clinic you put on in Comox. The kids were in awe. (So was I!)

This is a wonderful video. Great scenery, good music, and I love that you featured your girlfriend in it! You're now the second Core team rider to recently acknowledge your GF. In what has been a very male dominated sport, it's touching to finally see the girlfriends getting some recognition for the time they also participate in the kitesurf lifestyle. I've watched many girlfriends sit on high wind, cold sandy beaches, supporting their men. That's pretty hardcore, I've been there done that, briefly. Then I became the kitesurfer. I look forward to your next video. Keep 'em coming please :)
Hey Rhona, thanks for you comment. Best solution for the girls is to start kiting themselves, I'm also very happy to see more and more girls hitting the water instead of sitting on the beach. Can count myself to one of the lucky ones to have a girlfriend who is immensely stoked about the sport and I simply couldn’t do all the content I'm doing now without her. Keep on shredding and hopefully meet you on the water one day.
