No doubt tata did a really commendable on the curv both EV and ICE it looks fab the interiors are so gorgeous on the ICE variant and what a feature pack it has got styling wise people are saying this is tigor xl or nexon with a boot but i beg to differ the design is very well yes it's used quite often and all tata's look similiar now but nowhere it looks bad iam pretty sure this will have great road presence and this will be a big seller no doubt i just hope.the after sales and servicing part will not be a headache and this car will not be a mine of errors and problems
With that said, one major question revolves. What happens when battery ain’t not up to its maximum capacity anymore? How much does the replacement cost? Does it warranty effective functionality?
This is a proper 2 seater car with rear seats for kids I mean look at the rear headroom and legroom. It is claustrophobic for even a average height person forget about tall height people
I would want a less slopped rear roof and more of a boxy shaped one. That might give a bigger suv look than this which wanted to be an suv but got stuck with sedan features in the rear. Its like Tata Motors still has a hangover over Tata Indigo.
Unless people want to go with higher battery packs, it doesn't hurt to stick with either of Punch or Nexon in EV line. Now the main question remains, have they sorted out the HV battery error entirely in this curvv? If Yes, they maybe it has the upside of going for it instead of the other ev models like TIago, TIgor, punch, nexons which are known to throw HV alerts for some reasons or no reason at all. And the problem with this coupe coup designs is the lack of comfortableness at the back seat for stocky and tall people.
Atto3 battery chem and design is way better than the Tata Curvv. Lesser reliability issues for sure in BYD . HV CRITICAL ALERT is the most annoying error which Tata haven’t addressed in 3 years. All their new vehicles have it
I think Tata should have made and put the CURVV in premium segment with more luxury, power (bhp>200) and little bit bigger size at a price around 28-32 lakhs. As of now buying the nexon ev over the curvv makes no sense.
If u look at the EV version head on , you cant distinguish it from a Punch EV , which makes me very happy being a recent owner. It's one helluva car, this one should've had AWD. Also though the show version comes with puncture kit AND spare wheel (which doesn't make sense) mark my words, the delivery cars wont have either. This happened with Punch EV from June chassis
Honestly Tata Curve EV is looking fantastic but it looks like, atleast from the initial impressions from the video, that this Curve was meant to be originally an ICE car. I love EVs but I really have high expectations from Tata Curve Petrol because of its high NM specs(approx 230NM) and I have so much faith that the Tata Curve diesel won’t disappoint as usual.
If there is this much amount of errors on the dash during the time of launch. How can someone trust the brand and buy that car? The Hill decent control doesn’t have anything to do with the battery. I’ve seen many tata cars having the same issue. Ps : I’m not a tata hater, but an owner :)

It looks more like a bulky sedan than a coupe suv i believe. Design will become a significant factor deciding the fate of the car, as sedan market is shrinking... And i feel people will opt for tata harrier due to the price point
According to range and battery percentage shown in the inst. Cluster, maybe it can go around 450-500km on full charge. It's a really good range for the car of this price. Not a fan of .EV🙂

Faisal, I've one small request for you, please be vocal against companies for making good engines, OEM'S now a days are launching 30 plus variants with ton of useless & unwanted tech with subpar quality.. I don't want OLED screen in my car, I don't want glossy touch controls in my car, we just want a car with good chassis, good gearbox, good engine, with good steering feedback Now a days it feels like we are paying 15% more for these tech features rather than anything else
EV charging port positioning is extremely poor. I am assuming they had to place it here for faster charging times, but just one small hit from the front and you won't be able to open the lid... what a pain that could be?!
