Apparently I was wrong about rudders. You CAN use rudders only by going to settings and disable "auto-rudders". Crab landing will then be possible, and yes crab landings are very satisfying :3

Now this is what I like to call Quality Content. Amazing job man. I literally used to approach the runway from whatever angle I like xD
By the way (I think most people already know), you can disengage auto-rudder in the settings menu and use the keys Z and X (I think) to use rudder only throughout a whole flight. It really helps during a crosswind landing, and the only thing it affects is when you decide to change heading in mid-air without autopilot, which in that case you should use a bit of rudder to whichever way you're turning. Great video nonetheless!
Edit: I didn't play in November of 2019, but maybe that wasn't the case then so sorry if this is wrong.

Quick note: Landing on auto-pilot is possible, but you will have to calculate the amount of V/S u need to get on the glide path of the localizer, if you are already above it, just disengage A/P
true, some pilots even land w/ auto pilot in bad weather

just a tip to KingMoyai. Landing and strobe lights are turned on once you enter the runway. Nav lights are turned on once you spawn in. Flaps go to 5 degrease for takeoff. Landing lights are turned off above 10,000 feet and turned back on below 10,000. landing lights also come off after landing once you exit the runway.

As I know, you turn on Strobes, only when you’re In-Air or close to the Runway. But Navigation and Beacon lights should be always ON.

Angel Dust not true as strobes is turned on right before entering the runway and turned off right after landing.

14:46 you can turn off autorudder in the settings and then control the rudder and the roll separately
You have to turn on strobe lights when you are lining up or crossing runway, not while taxi.

7:17 You should have used 27L because it would be closest to the wind heading. By the way, for some reason the winds only blow from headings 270-360.

I thought you want to land on the opposite of the winds? that will help you slow down.
@@vishalvarma6339 Yeah, that's the point. When you see the wind heading in a METAR or get it in an ATIS report, it's the direction the wind is blowing from. So if the wind is listed as heading 270, it will push you towards 090.

btw the rudder can change to Manuel from Auto in settings so you can butter in crosswinds
Good video, but you need to talk more smoothly. By the way, you don't turn on strobes until you get to the runway. Also, I would descend to 5000 feet rather than 8000 on downwind.
practiced for 7 hours+ yesterday, really easy to butter now
without rudder try to go abit off the runway and the wind will push u towards the runway where u don't have rudder that is a great idea

My takeoffs are usually pretty good and everything but I've never found another airport where I can land... I wish they had an approach gamemode specifically for landing.
You can always just do traffic patterns to practice approaches.

I'm just having trouble understanding the runway numbers and how any of that works.
Runway numbers are basically the heading of the runway based on magnetic north. For example, runway 36 would be pointing north, and it's opposite would be always 18 - which is pointing south
Here are some runway numbers:
36-18
27-09
29-11
33-15
24-06
25-07
Actually i'm familiar with the controls, what I am confused about is the autopilot settings (idk what to put in the vs and hdg)

I sometimes do it manually i go the entire path align with the runaway and re align before landing and before all that i go low speed n altitude thats for the best
the thing is i dont recognize the map so i dont know where to go after take off can u set like a checkpoint or something to a certain airport
The pushback part is wrong, you are supposed to put the flaps when your engines are online, and you are in the taxiway, not at gate.

Here's some tips when landing: Flaps 30, Don't use spoilers while landing until you have landed and -stall while landing.-
are u dumb? u always want to land full flaps for most drag... alsop stalling on the ruwnway would break the gear.

They're short, but the planes can stop with the third notch of flaps

You know that taxing with flaps is a sign from the pilots to the ATC that the plane has been hijacked!
Flaps have nothing to do with planes being hijacked, I don't know where you get that from.
@@KingMoyai Flaps down during taxi was a signal to the tower that the aircraft had been hijacked. ... Flaps down increases the amount of lift generated by the wing, so some aircraft might actually lift off the ground while parked with full flaps in high winds.
Bradders Envy Gaming Its standard procedure, not everything you see on the internet is true. You know it takes about 4-5 min to fully extend to flaps of a 747 right? thats about 30 sec-1 min, if youd need to do that on a runway, it would take too long and will disturb the traffic pattern and possible all the flights on SID.
then tell me why on every flight i was the flaps were down even before taxiing? lol
