Had a problem with my 14 escape 1.6, cyl 2 had rolled/galled/stripped/galvanic corroded threads. It came out. Cyl 3 probably same situation, i broke the threads off the plug it was so bad. Tried heating them the best i could repeatedly, but just flat out seized plugs. Im breaking out a drill for cyl 3.
Vehicle has 70k. Book says 100k spark plug interval. I'm adding minor coolant topoffs (my mother car so I know), it consumes 12 oz of coolant about every 45 to 60 days
Id recommend antiseize on 100%of the threads, not just the top. I wish I could post a picture. My threads were a problem on the thread section closest to the ground strap, not the seat.
2/10/24. Great camera work, so helpful to see up close what you’re doing.
Great vid, what did you gap them at? I wouldn’t have left them at the factory gap setting, I was wondering if 0.28-0.30 was good!
How about using air hose Pryor to blow all that dust off
Nicely done! That was very helpful to me. Thank you.

My luck, the socket would come off the extension and stay on the spark plug.
I hate this car so damn much lol
