I know. I'm really liking this guy. I like them during the show. I like Russell, it's just Tony's like Brussel a little nicer attitude. Got things done, but nice about it, nice about it afterwards. Funny thought. Like the present we need. Not to go political, but Survivor is kind of political. It's like Trump, who strong no bulshit gets things done, pushes and or fights back.. but an Obama who smiles and looks good on TV, and nice/sings Kumbaya with everybody

I LOVE how Tony says people shouldn't question their win 'cause the jurors decided who should win. So many people **** on people for winning or because they voted for a person. Hey, you're on Survivor, you're a juror, YOU played the game, your vote is YOUR choice. Or hating on a past winner, they did what they had to do, they won. Get over it! People take things too seriously. The viewers don't see half of what is going or, personal connections, fatigue, emotions and obviously, they won't know who has idols or who's backstabbing who like the viewers. DAMN, I LOVE THIS SHOW. I LOVE THIS SEASON and congrats Tony!!!

@@trollwayy5981 I'm definitely agreeing with him especially in the sense where it's difficult to say who is overall the best. Tony was the best this season, but if you were to take the exact same cast and shifted tribes after this season, the outcome will be different, do it again and again very different. Tony might not win again and that's because he won this season. In a social game your reputation proceeds your "skill." People like Tony, Parvati, Sandra, Rob might never win again or will need such big targets with them in game to remotely make it to the end. This says al lot if they stand out in a season full of All Winners.

Good for Tony. Not the winners fonts if things weren't so sure. We all know house things go and art fair. Sorger he's excetera excetera. Winners of winter. But not necessarily earned. We all know that in life. That's too bad. I know one of two survivors that really just sucked in my opinion, many. So I'm sure that's hard for those winners that know many people feel that way. Of course, we all don't know until if and when we get that position.
See I agree with him but also justice for Ozzy is required that man is arguably the best challenge beast in the history of the show his social game needed work which is why the jury voted the way they did but still Ozzy deserves jury votes even when he does not play

Tony has always been my favorite from the first game he played. How can you not love this guy. He plays with a vengence and keeps you laughing at the same time. I rooted for him from the start of this season even knowing if Tyson had one I would have won $100. It was more fun rooting for Tony then any enjoyment that $100 would have given me. Congrats Tony!
I wish this interviewer had listened and asked follow ups, instead of just moving through the list of questions. So many lost opportunities!

@Volume Well that argument falls apart when you realise jury management is an essential part of Survivor.
@Volume It falls apart again when you realise that Russell needed an idol to survive and misplayed one in the Final 12 Tribal Council, and only survived because he got lucky because he was on Survivor at a time where idols were put in predictable places.
If we look at the times Tony supposedly *needed* an advantage or immunity in Winners At War, Final 6 and Final 5: Final 6, on the revote, Denise was always a higher priority to go home than Tony or Sarah. Final 5: Sarah was still intending to go to the end with Tony, and only flipped on Ben to try and build a resume for FTC. If Nat and Michele were to target Tony, Sarah would have stayed true and voted out Michele.
Also, Russell still lost that jury vote, he still did a fair amount wrong to get those jury members bitter towards him.
@Volume You know Natalie literally said that Tony was the biggest jury threat across the board and literally no one believed her except Michele because of how well Tony had managed his threat level? It's not that Tony wasn't a massive threat, it's that he managed to convince all his fellow players that it wasn't worth taking him out. Thus, he never needed any advantage to get through because he *did less wrong*.
@Volume That doesn't change the fact that he pretty much failed the Final 12 round and got extremely lucky with his idol find and the time he was put on Survivor.
I was out of breath just listening to Tony talk. I can't believe he can keep going without getting out of breath. He literally doesn't take any breaths.

I totally think Tony earned his win. I disagree about what he said about winners.... sometimes the jury doesn’t vote for the person they think should win; sometimes the jury is bitter or vote on “morals” or who they are friends with. There have been plenty of times where the wrong person wins, but obviously not in Tony’s case because he did such an amazing job both times he won.

David F I was more so alluding to Michele because Aubrey deserved to win in that season, but yes in season 19 Russell deserved to win. I recently watched the season again, and was surprised to see that Russell wasn’t rude to the other contestants. He got to the merge and the other team wanted what remained of his team out. Russell didn’t have a choice but to keep his teammates in. He was loyal to his side, and he got out those who opposed him first. The rest of his team played along like little sheep.The jury was obviously bitter and not to mention hypocritical because they were extremely cruel to Shambo throughout the entire season.... Season 20 is debatable. I would argue Parvati deserved the win that season, but certainly not Sandra. Russell played a more ostentatious game that season, but I do believe he took things too far at times (like when Parv used two idols without telling Russell first and he blew up). You can’t win Survivor when the jury absolutely refuses to vote for you because they are prideful and bitter. A lot of jury members have a difficult time separating the game from real life and fail to see their own hypocrisy as in many cases they would have done similar things to get to the end. It happens. I respect your opinion, but I believe that there are too many variables at play to paint every case in the same light. There are going to be seasons with bitter juries, and more than just sporadically.

I didn't think he knew the Sandra vote off from Denise this season. That was the closest for him going home. So only 2 blindsides for him over 3 seasons if very impressive
Well idols are different. Denise was going home if he didn’t play that idol, so Tony was in the majority there. But she played her idol that Sandra gave her. And then played the idol she found for Jeremy and then was the sole vote for Sandra. But tony is talking about voting in the majority and in that vote and every other vote, aside from the Ben vote, Tony was in the majority

What’s crazy is I think he’s the kind of guy that could go play and win AGAIN.He has a good nose for the game.He knows exactly when to be aggressive and make individual moves and equally important when to back off and let his alliance members take the wheel at times.Most importantly though he’s simply someone you genuinely don’t mind losing to.

@@Travisfairman i don't think anyone wants someone who was voted out on day 2 and didn't bother to take the risk Chris U took that was necessary for them to take out a big threat instead of hoping for one of his allies to do the work for them to represent winners at war as the 2nd 2 time winner.
Same with the player who was on the outs for like 90% of tribal councils and had to constantly look for cracks and barely made it to the end to also represent the season.

A season of all winners respect the players who made it to the end. And Chris Underwood kinda set the bar, if you reallly want to win as a returning player you have to give up immunity and take out the big dog in fire.

I hate this channel for being a part of spoiling thumbnails. So often shows get ruined by channels like this trying to get the likes. Ya, it's on me that I didn't see the last episodes, but do you really have to give it all away in the title and thumbnail so it can get to my recommended and ruin my experience? No, you didn't have to, you. It could have been "Winners at war champion 'blank'...etc" with a blacked out silhouette for a thumbnail or something. If I want to not have a UFC fight spoiled for me, I basically have to not go on the internet at all.
