  • In 2002, the Western Folklife Center produced a 1-hour public television documentary called Why the Cowboy Sings. In honor of our friend Glenn Ohrlin, here is the section of the film that features him.

Glenn Ohrlin; I had the privilege of having Glenn for a friend when I lived in Mountain View and performed at the Ozark Folk Center. A very interesting and knowledgeable man who knew hundreds of old cowboy songs. My favorite was Reincarnation. Bless you Glenn. Your house came right out of the old west and I loved it. You're home now.
