i like that tony keeps competing. I think it's good for him mentally. hearing that he's with his fam and coaching his son is really nice to hear. I weirdly feel a lot less sad for tony now, than I did during his prime. People forget that he's making his fam so much money right now, and handling losses really well. He's prob bringing in $1mil / year during the losing streak.
he's making tons of money, being fairly discipline in his lifestyle/fam life, and he seems to have a much healthier mindset (minus 1 flipped truck lol). That's really not a bad place to be in. It's a much better place than I assumed Tony would be @ age 40.
My only worry is that more head trauma will negatively change his mental health, but im not a doctor. idfk how correlated that actually is to his diagnosis. Bcz on the flip side, using the ufc/training to combat ur mental health demons is also really really helpful in keeping you regimented and disciplined.

I watched Tony since he won in The Ulitmate Figher years ago and he doesn't even fight or talk like he did back then. Even Brock Lesnar was a bit intimated and Tony was Lesnar's best fighter on his team that season. It's a shame Tony can't let go and just as the bad the "fans" don't wanna let it go either. It's time guys, it was a fun ride but I don't wanna see this guys to keep holding on to a fantasy retirement and become canon fodder to get a new guy over.

Hard thing to realize is how much natural athletesism plays in early success. Skill for skill Tony was never the best he just got away with a lot due to youth and toughness.Not a dig at him though, the same was true for Roy Jones Jr…..and believe it or not same for Bones and Gsp, they just had the right mindset and great coaches so they adjusted and found
