Not sure what type water you used but I tried distilled water and my steamer was pretty quiet and it didn't spit water...

Hi, thanks for the question! It dripped a bit of water because I started steaming before the device was totally heated. It doesn't drip if you let it heat up for a minute before starting to steam.

Was looking at this a week ago at Big Lots for $25 , decided it was probably junk. Came back for something else and noticed 1 left on the shelf. Think the price got mismarked and only paid $5! Just bought a used couch last week, great timing and sure paid to wait. Package doesn't say much, was afraid this was only for clothes. Thanks for confirming this will work on my couch as well.

Use distilled water
I have one, and the steam isn't coming out. Do you have any idea why? I have had it several years, but only used it a few times. It used to work, and now it doesn't.

You might need to hold down the hand button to bring the steam up like he did in the video. Mines did the same at first

Lis Hobbins I did! Just make sure you clean it every now and then to avoid things like calcium deposits if you have hard water.
I would highly recommend distilled or purified water. That's one reason for water spitting. I used distilled water and it didn't spit or get noisy, however if the water is too low that can cause loud spitting water too

Works great! The thicker material is actually an advantage.
