Luxury car makers are not fool that they do not provide damping in their cars and if damping was really really required they would have provided it. Daming is just a gimmick.

Bhai kabhi lagwa ke dekhna, uske bad bolna. Nigh and day difference ho jata hai. Maine apni ecosport ka floor and dicky damp krwaya tha and ab road noise almost negligible hai

Maybe thats ur take on it. People who go for custom audio setup in there car, all audio expert recommend damping and soundproofing the car. Even in cars like lamborghini or porsche etc. are vibro and sound damped when a custom audio setup is installed. Just like a movie theater or a home studio is soundproofed. Its scientific u should research about it. Though I don't knw what kind of product he uses are they upto the mark. Cheers
