hi! i am an international student from india, could you give me a review of the university in terms of its social life? (i will be a psych major probably) how is the international community at sbu and would you recommend the university for international students? thanks xx
Hi! Because I am not an international student myself, my opinions on the international community may be different from what it actually is. So far the international community is very friendly and welcoming. I have a friend from Singapore and she has many international friends from around the world! I'm not sure if Stony Brook is a great school for internationals, but I do know that Stony Brook is a very good school in general. When it comes to social life, it all depends on how you make of it. The reason stony gets a 'iffy' reviews for social/party life is because it all depends on the student and how they make use of their social time. For me I am having a blast and am very social even for a CS major. Cheers!
Hi! My resume was honesty a whole mess coming into stonybrook. I didn’t have much experience in anything and spent hours looking for things to put into my resume. It’s totally fine if tha ya the case because I’m college you’ll be exposed to a CRAP ton of resume building opportunities. As for GPA I came in with a 3.4 ish GPA.

@@RedskinsSupporter I was in some of the basic clubs like ping pong and like model UN. I got my acceptance letter around March.
