To me Mannie Took it!!! Every song he played was produced by him alone. Scott was playing Dr. Dre beats and baseline. On credits, those heat was written as produced by Dr.Dre and the other ones reads "produced by Timberland." So Scott was cheating in my book. So I give the WIN to Mannie hands down. Scott was playing other producers beats while Mannie produced every single song that came out of cash Money. Let that sink in.

This was a strange battle. Both are absolute assassins with signature styles but it's really 2 different genres of music. As many have noted, Scott needed a lot more support to get to this level while Manny was basically going it alone. Scott's hits have wider appeal but Manny had his ear to the streets. Manny about ballin with his boys while Scott trying to get you laid in the club. Much respect for both. Scott has more hits but more asterisks too. No losers in this battle.
He Co-Wrote not Co-Produced. Producing a Record and collaborating on a beat are two different things. Scott Storch is not even listed as a Co-Producer on Still Dre or Cry Me A River, he was hired as a Musician and Writer for those songs as Scott Storch started off as a Musician and session player before he became a Record Producer. A Producer is like the director of Film and T.V. They oversee the entire song creation process that has a vision for the song. You don't even have to make beats to be a Producer as Diddy and Rick Rubin doesn't make beats.
That's funny how y'all kept saying Mannie was on the ropes even when it's tied by your own score and admitted Scott was cheating by using co produced tracks and Beyonce 😒
On top of that, Scott Storch don’t have a of albums credits on these beats that he’s playing. So on paper, you don’t even have production credit on music that you playing and claiming it’s yours to play, vs beats I made from scratch and created every part of. What we doing

Right on, Charles!!! I thought the same thing as I reached the midpoint of this video. Scott has an edge over Manny due to his collaborations with other producers (especially with Dr. Dre). Point blank.
If you think about it though granted Storch collaborated on a lot of his hits, the chord progressions and melodies are all him. That’s pretty impressive since they are far more recognizable to most people.
Hustle Tha GOD that, I know. That isn’t an issue at all. I feel that the battle wasn’t equally yoked bc of that fact. We got diff producers able to play the same songs. I’ll put it like this, I would’ve loved to see Scott battle DarkChild or someone, and Mannie battle KLC of Beats by the Pound. It’s dope what they’re doing for the culture either way

Mannie did everything by himself, nothing beats back that ass up.
Still Dre does no matter where you from.

The Carter 1 too I believe
Facts!!! Some of my favorite tracks on them Cash Money albums were the intros lol
@@kingprince8011 I was thinking that, one of my favorite Mannie Beats.
Eddie Evans they didn’t understand any on them joints
To me Mannie Took it!!! Every song he played was produced by him alone. Scott was playing Dr. Dre beats and baseline. On credits, those heat was written as produced by Dr.Dre and the other ones reads "produced by Timberland." So Scott was cheating in my book. So I give the WIN to Mannie hands down. Scott was playing other producers beats while Mannie produced every single song that came out of cash Money. Let that sink in.
This cap because it’s been reported that Dr.Dre didn’t even make his biggest hits.
Yall doing the industry MOST.........
mannie produced ALL his tracks, all the Storch songs were CO-PRODUCED!!!!
Sorry, Mannie wins be default on producing EVERYTHING......a literal 1-Man army!

And Mannie was a in House producer for a long time that's why he doesn't have beat with everyone and still went blow for blow
Manny’s music is his own so how does he lose 🤷🏽♂️💯
Mannie was going off the dome (searching through files) & Scott had a playlist together (with CO-Produced hits)
ProblemHW no he wasn’t.... he came prepared cause he even had skits made for Storch....... but he just got his ass whooped
roman bruh stop the cappin
FACTS!!!! On that alone...Mannie WON!!
Gee roman If you actually watched it then you would’ve heard Scott ask him “was he free styling” & he said “yes” while going through his files
That's funny how y'all kept saying Mannie was on the ropes even when it's tied by your own score and admitted Scott was cheating by using co produced tracks and Beyonce 😒
THESE MFZ BEEN CAP AF!😂💯
Black Pro well said
Shaman The Gamer more diverse or more creative minds on a beat vs 1
That’s why Mannie did a live and talk about it. He thought it was suppose Mannies Beats vs Scott’s Beats, not Mannie be yo entire Production Team.
On top of that, Scott Storch don’t have a of albums credits on these beats that he’s playing. So on paper, you don’t even have production credit on music that you playing and claiming it’s yours to play, vs beats I made from scratch and created every part of. What we doing

East Coast bias with Ebro and nem. They made it sound like those Juvenile songs off 400 Degreez were just regional hits. BS. That album sold 5 million copies. I'm not taking Scott Storch/Dr. Dre/Timbaland r & b beats over a joint like "Rich Niggaz," which knocks outta any sound system.

I think Mannie Fresh won that battle my opinion is Manny worked on all his tracks by himself without any help and I think the songs they played they didn't give him the wins that he should have got against them tracks again Scott

Jarrett Hilton it wasn’t a good match up then
Most hit songs are produced by multiple people.
Hustle Tha GOD that, I know. That isn’t an issue at all. I feel that the battle wasn’t equally yoked bc of that fact. We got diff producers able to play the same songs. Rightfully so bc they created it together, but I don’t think it’s fair to a producer who solely uses their creativity alone. I’ll put it like this, I would’ve loved to see Scott battle DarkChild or someone, and Mannie battle KLC of Beats by the Pound. It’s dope what they’re doing for the culture either way
LaToya Anderson Personally I would like to see Mannie Fresh vs DJ Quik
