Is it me or do these guys feel like a family to you? They bicker sometimes sure, but they help one another out when they can. They probably spend way more time in battlefield then they do their own homes even, so they're with each other a lot. This video just solidifies that idea further and I love it.
This might sound crazy but this video kind of makes them feel like family. Over time I've learned things that anyone else wouldn't guess without spending plenty of time with these guys like the Heavy is actually fairly intelligent, he only sounds dumb because of a language barrier.
Well said. Roleplaying is my fave thing to do. It makes us feel like a family and when our loved ones die we kill those that hurt them, with love(not the super crazy weird love) We feel like this because we are fighting with other players(real people) I hardly feel like crap for the A.I.s in the game though(sometimes)
Yah, I have friends that remind me of the classes. After played a lot of TF2 and screwing around, they feel like family, I've learned to love a sentry and THEY do have feelings. So, I want A Tf2 movie. Damn, that would be great.....
This video was emotional for me, all the other great video's emotions put together. All of these characters feel like family, even Saxton Hale feels like a crazy uncle I have.
Thank you tf2 is more of an experience than a game. You can always be in a pub match and have fun or good around. No other game will have the same silly emotional experience. That's why it had held up for almost 8 years because the game is awesome.
Cole Sebastianelli in tf2, you dont scream and rage when you die. youre too busy laughing your head off because you were sent flying by a sticky, burned and airblasted by a pyro, pogoed off a wall (your a soldier), market garden a spy, survive with 1 hp, then get splattered by a crocket from across the map.
I feel like this video has a much much closer meaning to me, like... When I first got TF2 it was because a friend of mine bugged me to get it, and I finally got it, was addicted to offline practice for maybe a few weeks, then it just began collecting dust in the corner of my Steam library. Some time later, I learned about SFMs, I see one on my suggested list, and before I know it I've discovered a whole other world of beautiful creation, especially revolving around the game. I had no idea this game had such a vivid half-fact-half-fan back story, no idea that people were creating these whole other worlds that led you into the minds of the characters. Despite it being just a fairly simple shooter game these SFMs have connected me to the characters, I play the game now with a different kind of focus, I can interpret the stories presented here to the game, giving it a new color only seen in that way. Seeing this video summing up the others I watched with this song, I can see the tune that connects the entire fanbase, we play the game because the game is our escape. The stories here are not just events for the characters, they are reflections of ourselves, and we are all connected by our love and creativity. I always end up coming back to this video because it gives me heart that that connection is there, because we've all lost something dear like Engie lost his Sentry. We all had to join together to vanquish a demon like the two teams did to destroy the robots. We've all had that moment in our lives where we just want to make the bad thoughts go away like Medic when he drugged himself. In the end however, the good always shines through, and though the bad will just keep coming, there will always be a balance, and that balance is fueled by hope. Most importantly, it is fueled by teamwork. Always having someone behind you no matter what. Someone who's advantages aid your disadvantages, and keep you alive in the long run. A family isn't always bound by blood.
Just came back to this song after hearing it when it was first released. This still gives me goosebumps on how I used to play this game 24/7 with my friends. The majority of those friends are gone now, due to real life worries, fall outs and many other events. This song brings back memories that I had when I played with them, and always brings a smile to my face. Thank you for making this, it means so so much to relive them memories.
such an awsome game such an awsome community such an awsome company i will remember this game forever and alot of people will please dont cause shitstorms within the community and have fun this is 10000x better then overwatch
This feels like a video that would be made to look back at TF2 when it's gone. Watching this makes me feel like I'm old and TF2 is but a thing of the past. Stop making me feel ;_;7
As soon as tf2 dies out, someone got to do an updated version of this, with clips from Expiration Date and from more recent sfms, which are way better animated. It would be awesome
damm it why did u have to say that i finally got to play tf2 for a while only n u already making me scared about when will tf2 will die i do hope it will never die like some game magazines said " Team Fortress 2 the game that will never die"
i can’t believe i finally found it again, after all these years, it’s been such a long time and i’ve been through so much good and bad, makes me glad to be alive, i’ll take a walk ❤
This video made me realize why i love this fps game while not liking the others.. It has this familial love none of the others possess. Everything just feels like.. home.
3 years ago I would always walk home from school and listen to this song on my phone back when I played tf2. this video ment alot to me because I would watch it evry day. thank you for making this video. if I had one video to describe that year for me, it would be this one
Makes you think... how much the Tf2 people have been through and how much pain they have fought through just to get to their current life they have now...
Welcome to team fortress 2, after nine years in development hope it was worth the wait. Well you know what it was worth the wait because this is a legendary game!
This video reminds me of a few friends which I played TF2 with almost everyday, all of them quit the game and moved on with life...I miss them greatly...
whenever i think that tf2 is dying, i just come here and remind myself, that i dont give a damn if i have to be the last person on earth to do it, front every cost, but i will play tf2 to the day i die. i refuse to let it go any other way.
This video is amazing. Even more amazing when you find the hidden meaning. Tf2 is an amazing game. Tf2 is not all about killing, its about teamwork and its actualy a GOOD FPS game. Tf2 lived a long life and i hope it survives even longer. How do you know tf2 is a good FPS game? Its only FPS game that i actually truly love. After playing tf2 i never looked at other FPS games the same again. Valve is an AMAZING company but too bad they are a little bit lazy XD. Valve can make any game never get old and i dont know what it is, the humor, the teamwork, illuminati? All i know tf2 may be the greatest FPS game of all time. *Tf2 is love, tf2 is life ;u;.*
I used to agree completely with this and to some extent I do, but TF2 is going to die soonish, possibly due to Overwatch, I loved the characters, maps gamemodes and playstyles they were all so unique... Yet Valve is turning TF2 into a massive cash cow, milking it for money and selling hats. I think that TF2 is reaching it's end, especially with these recent updates it is becoming more of a joke, shoving in hats and making people fork out their life savings to get them, though this could just be an old veteran of TF2 bitching about the good ol' days... But I am really getting tired of all of the noob F2P's especially the young ones who scream and shout on a server and just generally ruin peoples fun. One of my favourite things in TF2 was how relaxed and casual it was compared to things like CS:S but they completely ruined that with TF2 you get all of these kids from other shooters who constantly just try hard when everyone else is having fun... Like the kind of person who caps the briefcase on a 6 player 2fort server. Sorry to be really fucking down on a nice comment but I seriously do think that TF2 has nowhere near as much love stitched into it as it once felt like.
Not Nathan Murray I am with you on this the updates are getting to be a joke and, as a former F2P turned P2P I do agree that some F2Ps give others a bad name fear not though TF2 will come back hopefully stronger than ever if not may it forever be know as one of the best in a long list of Valve games.
Thank you for the thousands of hours of laughs and everything. This game was probably the first game i have ever enjoyed playing to the fullest. Meeting people who were nice and just the overall community could bring the biggest smile on my face. Now it’s time to say goodbye thank you all for the many years
2021 now, we've lost Rick May, got attacked by hackers and Valve doesn't give a damn about us anymore. But we still live on strong. Perhaps stronger than ever. Cause that's how good the game is as well as its community. Love you tf2, and don't ever change a single bit
Team Fortress 2 is a gaming juggernaut, truly. The community that the game has spawned isn't going to just up and vanish some day. It's gonna take a long while, and it won't be just because of one game. That said, I really hope TF2 bias doesn't stifle Overwatch's sales, lol. Game looks promising.
TheHighestLevelUnicorn One day, I'm gonna watch this again, and I'm gonna feel so much nostalgia you don't even know. I am going to become a river of nostalgia. ( ͡° ᴥ ͡°)
This is a pure TF2 vibe... i'm dying of nostalgia here... it's like the old times, back in 2011, playing with no worries... at least, the game continues alive and active... but yeah... Valve is killing it... anyway... thanks TF2, thanks for made my life better...
God I hope tf2 never dies it's Ana amazing game that has given me and is still giving me amazing memories from the sfm's to the music to the gameplay all of these beautiful and glorious memories hold a dear place in my heart and it will stay there forever tf2 will always have a special place in my heart I love it and even if it does die I will still play it even if I am the only one playing it out of every single server I will always love tf2!
I remember june of 2012 i started tf2, 2012 went on to be the best year of my life. I remember in 2013, when I had a sort of crisis about quitting tf2 cause it kinda wasn't fun anymore, then I found this vid and it made me cry. Now in 2015(2016,almost!) I play tf2 again and smile at the old days. 😊great vid
TF2 has one of (if not the best) video game community, it is full of such amazing creators. Though some are gone, and we are in a dark age. TF2 will never die, it will live on in the hearts of everyone who played it. This is such a heartfelt creation, truly honoring what our community is. With such a great song to show us how we all feel. Viva la Team fortress!
I hate calling it nostalgia, but these videos were my life when I first started tf2 at the beginning of 2013. Just makes me that much happier that I still love the game.
+baybay56 fifa gamer stop please dont say that XD it wont die because i wont let that happen i will blow up to have tf2 live forever XD idk ok im bored
I first saw the game in 2013, I was living in a small Russian town at the time, and I didn't have much to do until I saw the game on the store counter. I started playing in 2014 when I was 10 years old. From that moment I went into it almost every day until 2019, so much has happened in my life over the years, I have found so many people, I have lost a lot of people, I have now found friends that I would not have found if I had not played tf2. I remember watching this video in 2015 and I was so really happy, it seemed to me that tf2 was just a huge world of possibilities, and now, 8 years later, I've already graduated from school, I'm watching this, and I'm just crying, I couldn't hold back the tears on the chorus, I literally burst into tears, so many memories have flown through my head, I don't want to lose it all. Valve, please save tf2 Even if I don't play this game anymore, I still really love it and consider its community one of the best, thanks to everyone, and to those who made these videos, and the one who put them together, and to the community itself, thanks to everyone, because of you I believe that I had great childhood.
This video has almost made me cry, It seriously lets all of us gamers see the good and the bad times we had in our gaming career... Thank you for making this.
screw half life 3...well maybe depends, we want a TF2 movie! Also the whole movie should feature SFM, not live action. God I learned that the hard way...*looks to avatar live action movie poster*.
End of the Line, I believe, will actually maybe be the longest TF2 fan-made video, perhaps even movie. Valve knows about it since it probably was supported with the Strongboxes.
I miss those moments when i learned how to rocket jump, trimp shield, flick headshots, helping a player rocket jump, good moments makes me wanna cry, tf2 is my first computer game and will be my favorite game.
This is something overwatch will never have....a damn good community, good game play, awesome characters, and let's not forget....everyone that made this game special....the fans. Thank you tf2 for a good time.
With how many imperfections the game has, this game will always stand the testament of time because of its community. The game was made perfect because of the people.
I have almost lived on tf2 for half my life and it has given me a unbreakable bond between it and if there is a tf3 I bet it will not be even remotely good as tf2 so my thoughts are I hope tf2 will live forever LONG LIVE TEAM FORTRESS 2!
I was sketching some rough ideas for a Scout painting I REALLY wanted to do, and this came on. I had to put down my pencil and stare at the PC screen. Do you know that sharp pain you feel in your heart when you're sad? Yeah, I felt that during the whole thing. This thing is just a surge of emotions.
If the community was not a thing the hats would not even be in the game valve needs to do more games the. Just sell other stuff they just shove off hat making on us
TF2 got so many unique play styles and such a styled atmosphere it will never die in my eyes. In exactly how many other games can you run about, bash people's skulls in with a pan? Mov down a bunch of enemies with a minigun and share your sandvich with your fellow medic that got hurt during the encounter? Rocket jump and slam dunk a critical hit on the unlucky sod below with the Market gardener? NONE. Sure, Team Fortress 2's course have been a rough one, countless amounts of updates, nerfs and buffs. But the previous stated gameplay mechanics kept this game alive for me. I'm a stubborn Soldier who will hold on dearly onto this game.
+Whateverguy I feel the same way. You've basically said why I love this game. The unequaled skill cap and ways to play are insane, and the graphics are styled in such a way that it really always looks good. I will play this game to my final breath. And probably then some.
Tf2 is like a family tradition, it's passed trough generations and generations. one day we will look back at this tradition and it will have been passed trough many many times. Tf2 keeps strong!
We shall defend our island, whatever the cost may be, we shall fight on the beaches, we shall fight on the landing grounds, we shall fight in the fields and in the streets, we shall fight in the hills; we shall never let overwatch win. -Winston Churchill
I've just found this video for no reason, just bored. Man, this is te best GMV video i've ever seen. I've just hyped (and still do) about this video and song this fandom people is awesome and you are thank you~
I miss old TF2 so much. It has such a long story and history, and an amazing community. It sucks so much that it was overshadowed by minitransactions. Sure, there were always hats, but it's nothing like it was now.
To me, this video symbolizes all the good times of TF2. And now that I see what the game itself has come to, it makes me love this video so much more..

Get through this feels fest without crying.

This might sound crazy but this video kind of makes them feel like family. Over time I've learned things that anyone else wouldn't guess without spending plenty of time with these guys like the Heavy is actually fairly intelligent, he only sounds dumb because of a language barrier.

Man i remember when i was watching this back in 2014
only if you don't show them

My youngest brother is actually a big fan after he would watch me play when I still lived with him. So there’s hope.

WHY DO I SUDDENLY FEEL STUFF
Thank you tf2 is more of an experience than a game. You can always be in a pub match and have fun or good around. No other game will have the same silly emotional experience. That's why it had held up for almost 8 years because the game is awesome.

in tf2, you dont scream and rage when you die. youre too busy laughing your head off because you were sent flying by a sticky, burned and airblasted by a pyro, pogoed off a wall (your a soldier), market garden a spy, survive with 1 hp, then get splattered by a crocket from across the map.
EnderSpy *Tears up* Well spoken man...well spoken indeed...
This video will keep TF2 alive for another 4 decades
and keep gabe delaying hl3 for the next 4 decades
John Gregori Gonzales As much as I love your comment and joke I have to say, it's been confirmed Valve is making HL3 and L4D3
LEAF BLADE and then hl3 is just hl2 with difrrent textures and models
John Gregori Gonzales pretty much
LEAF BLADE HL3 isn't confirmed. But L4D3 is. Along with Source 2.
Seeing this video summing up the others I watched with this song, I can see the tune that connects the entire fanbase, we play the game because the game is our escape. The stories here are not just events for the characters, they are reflections of ourselves, and we are all connected by our love and creativity.
I always end up coming back to this video because it gives me heart that that connection is there, because we've all lost something dear like Engie lost his Sentry. it's like the old times, back in 2011, playing with no worries...
at least, the game continues alive and active... but yeah... Valve is killing it...
anyway... thanks TF2, thanks for made my life better...
You were good son, real good, maybe even the best...
TF2 End Of The Line (AKA The Release Of Overwatch)
+AnonymousGamer Valve can keep it up... just give it to the community..

+AnonymousGamer I was thinking the exact same!
😊great vid

If you don't have tf2 watch this fucking video a-bazillion times then buy it

It feels great watching this again and remember the times when I first started playing TF2. Makes me feel emotional...
The teams have been through a lot of crap
And thanks to this the mercenaries are much more than only characters of a videogame
lots of trigger lots of wound lots of death lots of MEDIC!
@@heinzerr yep
TF2 is the peak of video games there will never be something to replace it.
when this game passes I'm going to look back to this year and cry my head off
+Tyler Dahn im going to cry sooooooo much plz so sadoh and anime sord art online sooooo good
TF2 has one of (if not the best) video game community, it is full of such amazing creators. Though some are gone, and we are in a dark age. TF2 will never die, it will live on in the hearts of everyone who played it. This is such a heartfelt creation, truly honoring what our community is. With such a great song to show us how we all feel.
Viva la Team fortress!
TF2 truly is a special game. Made me feel like all classes are one big family.
So awesome! Great video Jack!
More than a decade later and still a super influential game that many companies still try to replicate. Absolute perfection and amazing community.
I hate calling it nostalgia, but these videos were my life when I first started tf2 at the beginning of 2013. Just makes me that much happier that I still love the game.
The nostalgia is real... i rmemeber watching this 10 years ago
people say the game will last forever... but nothing pasts forever one day I will play my last tf2 match and cry over this video...
+baybay56 fifa gamer stop please dont say that XD it wont die because i wont let that happen i will blow up to have tf2 live forever XD idk ok im bored
All these years and this still makes me cry inside and remember all of those great moments.
TF2 not only game, this is legend
Valve, please save tf2
Even if I don't play this game anymore, I still really love it and consider its community one of the best, thanks to everyone, and to those who made these videos, and the one who put them together, and to the community itself, thanks to everyone, because of you I believe that I had great childhood.
i know that feel bro. have a nice life❤
This video has almost made me cry, It seriously lets all of us gamers see the good and the bad times we had in our gaming career... Thank you for making this.
All aboard the train to 2Feels!
+Pootis McPoot i will join this "2feels" map, and i will cry, you maggots
I'll join ya, partner
You are on your way to... ctf_2feels
i wait so long when it gonna go
All aboard my Team 2 the Fortress of feels!
screw half life 3...well maybe depends, we want a TF2 movie! Also the whole movie should feature SFM, not live action. God I learned that the hard way...*looks to avatar live action movie poster*.
TEAM FORTRESS 3 :OOOOO
***** Except all dem tf2 kiddies think they are just like the scout :D
YEEEEEEEEEEEES! A TF2 MOVIE! THAT WOULD HELP WITH MY BUCKET LIST!
End of the Line, I believe, will actually maybe be the longest TF2 fan-made video, perhaps even movie. Valve knows about it since it probably was supported with the Strongboxes.
A TF2 TV show after the TF2 movie wouid be the best thing in the world *O*
I miss those moments when i learned how to rocket jump, trimp shield, flick headshots, helping a player rocket jump, good moments makes me wanna cry, tf2 is my first computer game and will be my favorite game.
father, what's teamfortress 2.
son it's an old game.
so let me give you a trip down memory lane
I love this video. The mercenaries are so much more than video game characters. They all have a special place in every true tf2 player's heart.
I got into tf2 because of soldier and Rick May the fallen soldier and now this shows what a lovely, crazy game TF2 is.
This is something overwatch will never have....a damn good community, good game play, awesome characters, and let's not forget....everyone that made this game special....the fans. Thank you tf2 for a good time.
Here we're after 2901 days...
This song goes great with these clips.
Love how all of these comments are about how nostalgic the video is.
Im still watching and... It just make me cry... It was good times..
With how many imperfections the game has, this game will always stand the testament of time because of its community. The game was made perfect because of the people.
10 years and cheak this video again I watch this video when me was 5 years thank you
"i have to go, enjoy it kids, it's a classic"
-Michael De Santa
Dude this...is...AWESOME
another joyfull song
9 years later, thanks for this.
I have almost lived on tf2 for half my life and it has given me a unbreakable bond between it and if there is a tf3 I bet it will not be even remotely good as tf2 so my thoughts are I hope tf2 will live forever LONG LIVE TEAM FORTRESS 2!
gabe has said they wont make tf3 they will just expand tf2.
EXPAND DONG.
Now I remember....this game is a part of my heart and my life....Thank you for reminding me.
Is it still part of your life?
This touches my heart and is the reason i play tf2 and love it
We won't let this masterpiece of a game die, as long we stick together as a community
every other game came to take the market and tf2 survived through all of it and most games are forgotten in a year
I was sketching some rough ideas for a Scout painting I REALLY wanted to do, and this came on. I had to put down my pencil and stare at the PC screen. Do you know that sharp pain you feel in your heart when you're sad? Yeah, I felt that during the whole thing. This thing is just a surge of emotions.
Man, TF 2 is one of the very few games we can say is our own. As in, its built off of its community, if that makes any sense.
If the community was not a thing the hats would not even be in the game valve needs to do more games the. Just sell other stuff they just shove off hat making on us
***** Take a walk):
This made me nostalgic for a game I have never played.
GOD i miss it so much
The feels man when tf2 has passed I'll always remember it by this
TF2 got so many unique play styles and such a styled atmosphere it will never die in my eyes.
+DarkLordFTW With you until the end, brother!
Whateverguy Until the end!
I’m back to watch this and cry again .
Why so many feels, it reminds me that this awesome game will end someday. Hopefully not soon.
Still living
When the Nostalgia hits, this video hits like a truck...
Will always be my favourite game, love it
It is just me?... Or did i had a flashback of all my hours in tf2 animations, very nostalgic...
I've just found this video for no reason, just bored.
Man, this is te best GMV video i've ever seen.
I've just hyped (and still do) about this video and song
this fandom people is awesome
and you are
thank you~
I miss old TF2 so much. It has such a long story and history, and an amazing community. It sucks so much that it was overshadowed by minitransactions. Sure, there were always hats, but it's nothing like it was now.
I just wanna say hi to anyone thats seeing this comment in 2020, your a legend.
To me, this video symbolizes all the good times of TF2. And now that I see what the game itself has come to, it makes me love this video so much more..
I have tf2 already, but this vid makes me love it and want to play it even more
that fast parts of video describes almost everything, because of tf2 is one of my most favorite games
first ever video that introduced me to tf2
Every time i come back to this video , then more older gets more tears i cry
it brings tears to the eye, doesn't it?
I'd why but I feel like crying
No
Wow, a lot of time has passed and it feels just as it felt listening this for the first time.....
That makes me nostalgic
The nostalgia hits a little harder each rewatch 🥲
