    I was about 17 when I first played this. I was the sub organist at the cathedral in London, Ontario around 1988/89. I absolutely adore this setting!!!!

      Overwrought is better than crotch rot. What a glorious setting this is. One of my faves!!!!!

    Delicious 32' reed at the end of the Magnificat! Being from King's College... that would make it a Double Ophicleide, I think...

    Yes, this is an amazing one, BUT, why can no choir in the land articulate/ stop rushing, the triplets ; and if this was an orchestral piece I bet the conductor would conduct@ 2 in abar-;why chop up the phrasing for singers?!
