    Hiya, new here (but i have a cricut!)
    With the uv dtf, if you were to use a different supplier would the transfer cover be less strong?
    Also
    With smaller edges, is it worth finding an edge that it will work with, moving into the centre and then making a little cut so that you can press the lines from the centre outwards? Thats what i have done with small vinyls.

      No uv dtf transfer sheets are all going to be fairly sticky. It’s just how they are. You can apply it however you want and whatever way works for you

    Hi Corinne, thank you for the demonstration. How do you store the films? How long does the film last on the products. Would the Utf be safe outdoors for car stickers?

    • @CorinneBlackstone
      @CorinneBlackstone  7 місяців тому

      Uv dtf will likely outlast the product. As for storage I just store them flat in a cool dry place out of direct sunlight. As far as I know it can be used on a car

    Hi Corrine, I have a couple question. In recent cricut update I saw where some of my custom designs are now flagged with cricut access. Do you know why that happened? How do I get the flag off? My projects are not being shared or in the community forum. Thank you for your help.

      @CorinneBlackstone  7 місяців тому

      There is a glitch in the update per usual that may be causing that. But also if you did you any fonts or designs from cricut within the design it may show that as well

    Can this work on wood?

    This is great but would I be able to use a normal image/photo of my dogs to put on hats/caps?

    • @CorinneBlackstone
      @CorinneBlackstone  7 місяців тому

      Yes but you can’t use uv dtf on hats. Those are fabric. As I explain in the video you have to use DTF prints for fabrics. Very different products. You can get DTF prints using photos here www.143vinyl.com/custom-dtf-prints.html?partner=196113

    Where are you getting your mouse images from? I’m a Disney fan, too, and I’d love to do something similar

    Hi there! I bought an apparel Valentine Disney design that I love but now that I'm looking at it I would love it as a sign for my front door so can I press it on a wood round sign or do I need to sew a door flag? I feel like the wood would hold up better in FL is my reasoning but I was even sure if pressing to wood is possible.

    • @CorinneBlackstone
      @CorinneBlackstone  7 місяців тому

      Wood is a hard surface. There for uv dtf would work just fine on it. If you want to use fabric you have to use dtf which is made for fabrics. Neither one is going to hold up forever in the sun they will eventually fade

    • @stacystine467
      @stacystine467 7 місяців тому

      Yeh I just didn't know if an apparel dtf would press to a hard surface at all, like pressing htv to a hard surface. I don't want to waste it, so I can sew a flag for it if I have to. I have a screened patio over my front door but I was just thinking blowing rain and regular plant watering where the patio might get wet that a sign would hold up better for the month it would be up for.

      @CorinneBlackstone  7 місяців тому

      @@stacystine467 regular def can be applied to wood but just like htv because it’s not actually meant for that type of application it will not last as long as something made for it. Uv dtf is the right choice for wood
