Hi Fiber Spider, I love this tutorial, because honestly using the granny stitch a uncomplicated stitch pattern really helps you learn the Elizabeth Zimmerman mathematical formula that can then be applied to crochet and knitting 🧶 your a wonderful teacher ❤️
What a great project! This lovely piece combines the best of shawls and ponchos - it won't fall off and you can wrap yourself in snuggly warmth. Thank you Fiber Spider xxxx
I did my mega increases in every other single chain space and got a half circle shawl. Just what I wanted and so easy. I only do two double crochets per cluster. That keeps the shawl a little lighter and more open weave. I think a v stitch would be nice also. Thank you Fiber Spider.😊
I love crescent shape and pi shawl and I find it difficult for me to learn about the pi shawl math, I don’t know why but right now it’s hard for me to understand how to do pi shawl with the pi shawl videos on youtube. And that’s why I love your video so much. I can understand pi shawl easily that I don’t even think about it when I start watching. Thank you very much. Actually I love your swoop shawl anyway. I made a small sample for my son and another version based on the thing I learn in your swoop tutorial with little eyelets and scallops border and I love the shape which a little bit different from your original, the result is fantastic. I love it. I really want to thank you so much. And I’m thinking about making another version based on this video. It light me up. Thank you so much.
Can I say it ? The first increase: 3rd rows The second increase after 3 no increase rows The third increase after 6 no increase rows The next increase after 3 no increase rows The next increase after 6 no increase rows The next increase after 12 no increase rows The next increase after 24 no increase rows The next increase after 48 no increase rows And so on 48*2 ….. I’m a little bit confused about the part 3 -6 no increase rows
I will try to make this shawl alongside with you and I hope I won’t get confused, lol. I really like this shawl and I’m determined to learn it. Thank you and God bless 🙏😘😍🩷
What an ingenious design! This is perfect for people who have a hard time putting on a sweater or are tired of having sleeves bunching up in sweater sleeves.
That is really pretty, the way you're wearing it is very nice, it makes it look like a cape, but it's better because wrapping it creates LAYERS, which is essential for warmth. You're making so many nice warm shawls & such, that you will have to spend A LOT of time outside next winter to make up for so much time spent inside due to the virus.
I have 3 cakes of LB Mandala in Warlock, which I plan on doing color control. I will however have to make a shorter version as I am only 4' 9-1/2" tall. Don't want to walk or trip on this. I just plan on wearing, just letting in drape down in front. I have 4 projects going now, when I complete 2, I'm gonna get started on this. Thanks this is beautiful
This looks perfect for when the weather cools off again 👌!! Doesn't this give you a great idea for a pretty and different kind of poncho !! And I love when things are explained !
I just finished this! So easy and I love the style so much I'm going to make another with different yarn Thank you so much for your clear and inspiring videos. Just lovely.
Hi 👋 Fiber Spider This is beautiful I love 💕 it I just need to get my self some of the 🧶 yarn thank you for the amazing 😉 video.cant wait to to give this a try. Mary.
What an amazing idea! I especially love that you encourage us to "step out of the box" and be creative... making this is wonderful for women of full figure... we can shape accordingly and "try on" as we go..! This is especially nice as a project to pick up and take along... Hugs, GrammaBabs
I really Love this shawl, I have some Red Heart Ombré in Deep Teal, you did say that it could be heavy but I’m gonna give it a shot using a 5mm hook 🤞🏽 Thank You for all the beautiful tutorials ❤️❤️❤️
I just stumbled across this and already have 1/4 finished. I decided to use Mandala Ombre "Mantra". Although, it's a four weight, I like it and can't wait to finish it.
Gorgeous spider thank you I love that colour way too 😊 thanx for the great how to put it on part I could see myself getting myself in a tangle though lol 😂Amanda xx❤️❤️
Holy shitake mushrooms! LOVE LOVE this! Stop the presses (well all current WIPS anyhow) I had to start this... it's amazing.. YOU are amazing...did I say I LOVE this??? I even started it in the big scoop, butter pecan colorway :) Which btw, the blue throws me in that color also. Anyhow, thank you for all you do... you ROCK!
Mmm I like that colorway! 😀 I might double it up with something like tutti-fruitti & make a crazy, plush wrap. ☺ Wish Lion Brand would offer the teaberry colorway again - that was my favorite. 💜 This is a lovely pattern! Guess who's mom gets another shawl for her Sept birthday. 😏 Thank you, Fiber Spider! 🌸
I love the idea but not keen on granny stitch . Can i use another stitch even if its just moss stitch. Can you do so mething with alpine stitch or waffle stitch please. Thank you
I just love this. This shawl is going to be made as soon as I can get my yarn and it will not be one I will give to anybody. This one is mine!

Perfect yarn eater. I ordered too many skeins when making my granddaughter's mermaid tails. Now I'll have a matching shawl/poncho. Thank you.

This looks more wearable than a poncho, poncho's limit your arm movement. I am going to try this, but maybe not with the same yarn. 😍
