whether it's over-rated or not doesn't change if the game's good or not. The graphics are pretty shit, but the concept is interesting. The mechanics are well-executed, it's challenging, it does a good job at scaring you, even without the jumpscares, and it has enough depth to hide alot of tiny details that make the game's story, little by little.
Idk about the animation though, didn't watch it, not interested in watching it.
