- One of the most prominent geological features in Knysna is fondly known as ‘The Heads’, which refers to the colossal sandstone headlands which flank the 230m opening of the estuary mouth. It is permanently linked to the sea and some days the opening of the mouth is so calm and glassy that one could quite easily take a leisurely paddle out to sea (not often), while other times waves crash along the entire length of the channel and vessels of all sizes are unable to make the passage out to the ocean. Whatever the conditions, it is always an awe-inspiring sight.

Knysna is a beaut👌 For an incredible sea view you have to come check out Sardinia Bay (Sards) and Maitlands PE. Sunsets on the dune are incredible. Then you have to check our the mountainous terrain of the Baviaans😍
I am a big fan of sea and coast. 🌊 The power of the sea is stunning . Could you film from PPE to Brenton with the drone? I can imagine that your film will be great. 😍
